Unreal. Blender will be used for very few tasks
Do you provide the texture assets, or do you show how to make them in software like Photoshop? Also very excited for the course! :)
Testures are provided, I don't remember if Nicolas shows how to create some of them but we have free ressources about that (camp fire tutorial)
I show how to make most textures in the course, and you have access to them directly in the Unreal Project provided with the course !

je comprend l'anglais mais je suis loin d'être bilingue, et c'est toujours plus simple de comprendre dans sa langue natale.
ci non c'est pas grave je vais apprendre le Rig et les vfx tout en faisant progresser mon niveau dans la langue de Shakespeare.

On a scale of 1 to 10, how broadly are the VFX concepts taught in this course applicable to other software? Or in other words, how much of the concepts are applicable outside of Unreal? Because I don't use Unreal, but I hope that I could still use the knowledge in this course for other software.
I’d say 9
But shader un node setup can be complicated if you don’t have a great knowledge of the other software and understand how to replicate.

Most things in the course are applicable to Unity, some modules and nodes have slightly different names tho
Kinda dissappointed. Thought it was going to be a 2dfx course like the ones you showed a while back.
I'd like to do something like that in Blender with grease pencil but I'm not ready yet.
