Great deep-dive into how to use Milliput! I think this is a really helpful video for someone that hasn't used a product like this before to really understand what's involved. Also, the result is of course fantastic - a guy with "horn" in his name really needs his horns! Very nice work!
I must compliment on how tidy your work area is. Once i start filing and dust gets everywhere and my wife asks where are my nail files i know its time to tidy up lol
I remember this video and glad you figured out repairs on these if I need them. I've been collecting a lot of D&D figures lately, from the vintage to the newest bigger version of Elkhorn that just came out from NECA.
I remember this fix. I still watched it again. Im glad i did. It felt different this time. Was it a directors cut? Felt like it had new voice over, new music, different edit. Am i right or is my mind playing tricks on me?
I was so confused initially watching it on the TV and seeing the like. Liked the VO on the video. Wish there was more LJN D&D videos on your channel but guess it goes to you having a solid unbroken collection 😅
I will do more AD&D as I find issues, but they are generally very well made figures. The main issue is legs coming off and I have videos on that already.
If you can't exactly match the color here, you could always get a close color that you liked and paint the whole helmet the same color. Then add back the red details and coat it in satin.
Now if I could just find my Elkhorn to fix lol. Im so glad you introduced me to milkiput. I wish i could find the EVA plas5ic weld in the US , anyone know any US equivalents?
Milliput is such a great stuff. I ordered it from amazon and unfortunately the german custom didn’t let it in. It’s too dangerous. They want me to send them a registered classification…. With other words. It never showed up. Now, I try to buy „green stuff“. In the MiWuLa Hamburg they also use green stuff. Keep up the good work.

Though this was a smaller repair, I like that it allowed you to really focus on the nuances of these simple fixes. It turned out wonderfully!

That neca warduke is awesome!
Just wish NECA didn't have a 30% fail rate or I would of jumped on the new figures
It's as good as new. Great job
Nice one, always great to see toys repaired, although he looked great with battle scars 😁
Thanks Dave 😎
Great work Dave
Thanks I’ll keep this video in mind if I ever need to fix dungeons and dragons small figure like this 🤝🤝🤝
Nicely done. Thanks.
Thanks for watching!

I can't remember the last time I watched so much sanding!
This is all real time to show how much work goes into a repair. Normally I would speed it up.
@@toypolloi Understood!
He's so tiny. Lol a broken horn gives him character, looks like he's been through some stuff.
🤘😝 METAL!!!
You always do great work, but this is particularly impressive!
Thanks 😎🖖

Almost impossible to tell that it has ever been repaired, Dave! Nicely done!
I would totally pick, fix and customize an army of Elkhorns along with custom diorama
Great video! Awesome job on the horn
Thank you very much!

Been waiting for a new D@&D episode. Thank you Dave. Keep up the amazing work.
Thanks, will do!

That's weird!
If you mix milliput about fifty fifty with greenstuff it has the slight flex that won't crack like pure milliput does on these figures.
Thanks for the tip.
@@toypolloi that's what Elkhorn said :). Hope that unsolicited advice helps a lot of readers. That little flex makes all the difference.
which 80's elevator did you steal this music from? BTW nice repair.
I can't offord not to have AD&D insurance
Repeat?
I thought so too. 🤔
