Similar to removing rogue scratches, removing an acid stain from polished concrete requires a careful approach. The goal is to blend the damaged area so the shine matches the adjacent polish and, hopefully, the color too.

Being someone that's in the surface cleaning industry this is the best example of how to repair a acid stain on a hard surface. I CAN NOT TELL YOU HOW MANY TIMES I've told customers DO NOT LET, JUST ANYONE, tell you they can get rid of hard water stains on anything UNLESS THEY ARE INSURED!!! The damage that can be done by improper methods can cost thousands if not into the ten thousands and above to repair. Imagine if this where the siding on your home or a entire wall of an office building!!! I've seen this kind of damage way to many times to count.
Thanks for the video extremely informative.
Thank you

Thank you very much for the experienced input and the compliment. Both are appreciated.
how to remove bleach stain in black tiles?
@@girlinepetrova1255 I’m sorry, but this is not my specialty. Is it marble or granite? I have some friends that work with stone that I’m happy to pass your request to.
That was great ! Short, to the point, packed with information, fully showing each step. Perfect. I've spilt acidic car wheel cleaner on a laminate floor. The stains goes from cloudiness with no above surface stuff, to hard chalky deposit on the other side of the stain. Sanding didn't work. I guess it's a new laminate plank for me ...
Very good work, I think with the right kind of colour match, one could receive an almost perfect result. Just takes a person who really understands how to get the exact match of the preexisting aged floor.
We agree! Time and understanding are key, as well as the correct tools. Thanks for your insight!
Great video! How do you apply the densification process without a huge machine?
Very good video
Thanks!
I honestly feel if u would of done it with a hand grinder same grits but less weight it would of made almost the same shade love how u didn’t use no stain
Thanks so much for the input. You are right about such a small area only needing a hand machine. The thinking here is it being easier to blend through wet cutting with a copper pad. Wet cutting with a hand machine usually needs more surrounding protection. Thanks for the input. It’s always appreciated.
Any tips on how to get dark stains out from drinks? Have a tun on an acid stained floor (purposefully marbled looking) concrete floor. But they never sealed it so the stains you can get up the spill on the surface level but the spot stays.
Sorry to say that I don’t know of a way to remove a stain without doing damage to the color that’s already there. The fact that it’s an acid stain might make it more resilient to a chemical approach, though. On a small spot (hidden from regular view) you could try some acetone. It would be done by applying the acetone and dabbing with a cloth while it’s wet. This might work to lighten it.
What did you use for the densification?
Nice
What is this cemical name please sir
Sorry for the delay. The densifier is the chemical used to help the polish be better. This makes the concrete more abrasion resistant.
I smeared a tile floor with vinegar, how to remove the stains?
If it’s an etch to the surface, then it would need to be mechanically processed by some abrasive process. You can verify if it’s etched by dragging your finger across the surface. An etch will feel more rough.
were u able to remove it? did the same thing smh🤦🏻♀️
Viniger smear is removed from concrete or not if yes then how
What is the chemical name
Acidic dog vomit - on a salt n pepper semi gloss (close to matte) finish polished floor. There is NO etching - just a perfect outline of the area where vomit rested. It took literally 1 minute for the white patch to occur. Some areas the vomit was on it for hours (dog only sick at night), others only a minute or two. What now? Not sure if I would call polished concrete floors low maintenance or resilient! With 4 or 5 areas now - on a 1300 sq foot open plan floor - am I looking at a complete chemical strip and refinish? Interesting thing is that the vomit areas almost approximate the colour of the 4 year old slab underneath area rugs!! The exposed area of the floor has definitely darkened naturally.
