Nice work. Really helpful for somebody who hasn't done this before and is thinking about taking it on. I have a plain driveway that has no stamping in it but something like this would really improve the entire front of the house.
Go for it.

You always turn simple concrete into high art. So amazing
I try

Thanks very helpful!
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you for talking the time to share your experience and knowledge. I’ve painted my patio but it hasn’t lasted. You were very thorough and the finished product looks wonderful.
Please mention certain precautions and safety measures in future tutorials. I saw that one of your commenters mentioned the very tragic death of his neighbor from inhaling Muriatic acid.
Thank you again for sharing your knowledge and skill. May God Bless you!

David it came out real nice..

Nice video brother I always watch your concrete laying videos as well! I have a question for you. I have a walkway and when I bought the house it was already stained. I don't think it's an acid stain I think they just rolled it on as in paint stain. It's old and it's chipping. It's fading away and I wanna restain it but I was wondering, do I have to take that old stain completely off or can I just stain over the old faded stain? If I do have to remove that stain what is the best way to remove that old faded stain?
Can this be okay for driveways? Or will the sealer be an issue for tires since it had grittiness to it?
This looks great
That is awesome looking
ty
David turned concrete into natural stone, great job, Russia is watching👋👍
That's the goal
TY
Concrete is beautiful 👍
Yes
It is amazing what one can do with concrete.

Looks amazing! Question for you, the tile on my front porch gets extremely slippery when it's wet/rains. Would some of that non slip additive work to put down for some grip? Does it need to be mixed with something particular or can it be mixed with water? Thanks so much!
Mix it with sealer
Audience, Odell what brand of stain did you use for this application? Great Job Sir!!!
Hello Mr. Odell any chance adding a lil muratic acid to water based stain ? Will it leave a better finish like the acid one you used in this video ?
Came out great. I was wondering how those lil sprayers would hold up with the solvents. Wish they made some that were built tough for solvent use. Ohh I guess they do make them, just looked 😂.
That make them at $200. 00 a pop.
This looks like where I used to live! Victorville CA!

In the Union, we used Graphite granules on step surfaces for nonslip I haven't seen that stuff in years though.
Whatever works, I'm down
What sealer should I use if using a water based solvent stain ? Ty 👍🇺🇸
Where can I buy the products what you use in the video. I live in Phoenix. Thanks.
Wow pretty 😍
Thank you! Cheers!
Very nice
Thanks
I love this look, but how do you safely clean it without damaging the finish? I have hard water that just leaves stains. Thanks
Vinegar
Awesome job! Will the sealant be slippery when wet?
No, I added a non slip material to sealer
Hey odell love your video I am going to try to do this myself I am a DIY this color is beautiful where can I purchase the product you made it look easy thank you sir !

Good afternoon
I have some leftover La Habra Crystal light packets that I use for my stucco wall
I was wondering if I can use that in my concrete to pour a colored walkway
I would think so
Should I use a penetrating sealer first and then use a glossy sealer with the non slip additive added? I get green moss in the back of my house and I have full sun on the side. Thank you
Sounds good
Wish you would have shown it the next day for a dry sealed look. But agreed, gorgeous!
TY
Can you send me the exact product you used? It looks amazing. I want to do this on my driveway
Go slow motion and you'll see it.
I don't remember.
does this work with a "sweep finish" sidewalk? Watched a lot of your videos.. Formed up a 140 feet x 3 feet wide sidewalk with a 10x16 driveway.. was considering stamping but a lot of extra work and cost.. And my concrete finisher friends said not to stamp a rental property, too much maintenance, but I would like to color it, even if I have to seal it yearly.. Just curious not a lot of videos of people coloring/staining sweep finish
Yes
Hey boss I was wondering what you would recommend, staining concrete vs adding color hardener when pouring. Pros & cons
The only con I’ve heard of with adding color when pouring is each batch or truck (depends how much I’d poured) needs to be consistent
I like color hardener the best.
Staining is kind of a after thought procedure
@Odell Complete Concrete why is "Beautiful Diamond Grid Concrete Driveway" set as a private video?
OSS
I love your videos, how much did this project cost ?
500
Do you throw those sprayers away after you use them?
Sometimes I repurpose for storage
Who was your camera person?
Your work always looks awesome
Wife
Odell, how much acetone do you add to the sealer per gallon?
33%
I have a patio and when that it was already stained. I don't think it's an acid stain I think they just rolled it on as in paint stain. It's old and it's chipping. It's fading away and I wanna re-stain it but I was wondering, do I have to take that old stain completely off or can I just stain over.
Best to get it off.
Floor buffer with paint stripper pad
I'm Sri Lanka
For I'm your big fan this works I like it ❤
This work my favorite ❤
I also do this work in Sri Lanka
More then 10 years
Nice
Does it stay that dark when you put the sealer down or does it go back to the Color it was prior to sealer?
It will lighten up as the sealer looses sheen
Nice
Do you know why the sealer starts peeling
Yes, Installed wrong.
Can you list down the products used for concrete staining. If possible give their online links.
Can you seal after or do you have to wait hours to seal
Depends on sealer
Hi,
This is nice! We have a stamped plain concrete pool deck we'd like to seal.
Can you provide a list of all the products used in this video please ?
We're located in Georgia.
Sure, I have a new one coming out with all the information
So you etched it,and stained it on one process?
Sounds reasonable
Can you use this if your concrete has been previously stained with a water-based stain?
No
Excelente trabalho
TY
Sir what is the name of the color of this stain Beautiful !
Oak
I may have missed it, but what sealer did you use?
Lacquer base
Hey my concrete guys tried to color my stamped concrete light grey but made it basically black. Is there a way i can get it to the light grey color I wanted?
Maybe
Can you please send me some pictures, dimensions and your location of job?
Beautiful
TY
Did I miss the video of you pouring and stamping that section?
Previous video about 4 weeks ago
Link?
That's a great look. One question: Does the sealer wear on heavy traffic areas? Outstanding work.
Probably need to re seal every 3 to 5 years
I miss real high solids sealers in California. We can’t have anything that works anymore.
I know, it's a real drag using what available in CA. and then having to reseal every year.
The high solids will get you 5 years of use
Just finished staining my front porch and walkway and am not happy with the results or color. I have not applied sealer. Can I apply a paint over the stain? What prep do I need to do?
Pressure wash and paint.
would it be ok at this point to apply more stain?@@OdellCompleteConcrete
👍👍
How often should it be re-sealed?
3 years
What if you put the sealer on within an hour of staining it?
Good question
What’s the acetone to dealer ratio?
I like 33%
👍👍👌🤠
Should of thrown your coffee in the sprayer Dave when you ran out
Probably would have worked
Do you really need to seal it or you can just leave it without a sealer?
Sealer preserves the surface
Just use regular sand for non slip. Way better.
For sure
it looks like you built that home right in the middle of an indutrial area in the desert!why?
I'm an Industrious guy.
I did a waterbased stain on my patio two years back and although it overall held up pretty well I have noticed some spots were it wore off I sealed it with a solvent based sealer but not is the only way to touch up and re deal to completely remove the existing stain first?
Stain over it and seal.
👌👌👌👍👍👍💪💪💪💯
Looks like natural wood

Someone did this to our patio before we bought our house 5 years ago. Now it's all peeling up. Looks like they used an orbital floor sander to rough up the surface a bit too. No idea how we're going to fix it.
This process doesn't peel. Yours is most likely a water base stain.
@@OdellCompleteConcrete Who knows. Would it be best to pressure wash all the loose stuff off and do a light sanding to remove everything left then stain it properly?
Why no Neutralizer? Amonia
Not really necessary when you can flood it with water.
Dave do they sell that sealer in California
I wish, I WOULD BE A MILLIONAIRE FOR A MINUTE UNTIL I WENT TO JAIL
Also I have a question, why didn't you neutralize it?
I figured it was neutral enough based on the heavy reaction.
Came out nice. I'm going to do my back patio now. I just ported 7 yard s . I'm ready to roll.. thanks again
Huge fan of you guys! What product of stain & sealer are you using if I may ask?
What happened to the mini-split?
I did a wall AC combo heating unit
@@OdellCompleteConcrete oh ok, because that unit looked like a window unit shoved in that beautiful wall of that garage. lol
Wall units draft air at the rear and window units draft air from the sides.
@@OdellCompleteConcrete alright, just thought you would've installed a mini split
Baking soda and baking powder are two names for the same thing.
Good to know!
I like it so much, I want to come and stay with you.
Sounds good
Like the comment....
IM JUST GONNA GO FOR IT!
