They started phasing out R12 in the late 80s by 1995 it was done. R134 was in every car.who really drives anything old enough anymore that has R12.
Just because you don't, doesn't mean people aren't driving cars with R12 system. You're also not aware of the number of people requesting for this content.
@@studentlesson I've got an 84 K20 Chevy and a 94 Corvette never needed anything newer and I've been a mechanic for 40 yrs. Do a video on installing AC in a car that didn't come with it. I've done that too. don't take it personal, but I don't see that many cars on the road that still run R12 except for the one I'm driving.
No new cars have R134a. Its being banned and phased out. GM cars newer than 2015 don't use it.
