My First Jaguar

Way back in 76 or so I got a 61 Jaguar Mark II with a 2.4 liter 4 speed (Moss box). Turns out it had a massive crack in the block. Got a wrecked Mark II with a 3.8 automatic. Rebuilt the 3.8 and put it into the car. I must have been about 20 years old. Check out the red shoes.

Thank you for your praise. I finished this Mark II in about 1982, drove it for a few years and sold it to someone who loved it. My current project is the claret XKE. I don't expect that I will ever part with it.

@@lotusbobsgarage ...keep up the good work , im glad to hear your keeping the XKE , we need tp preserve the cars left as i think they are a visión of beauty , i too have a classic a 420 man/od and love it and like you aim to keep it
