Hi Terri I love my over ripe banana for my fritters or my banana bread please, they do great when they are over ripe, great job keep doing you ,one love
When the bananas are so ripe, I don't use sugar because they tastes too sweet. Thanks for the recipe. I tried using baking powder and they absorbed too much oil. I am used to making them without baking powder and I never saw the oil disappearing from the pan before. I am sure it was the baking powder.
I am MiizPinky it’s a mix of nutmeg, cinnamon, coriander seed etc... if you don’t have it just use your nutmeg and cinnamon as this works perfectly too xx
The best RUclips page for learning how to cook Caribbean food 👏🏾🙌🏾

We made these growing up but with plantain. Try Plantain guys, it's also fantastic. This video literally made my mouth water.

Is there a substitute for mixed spice? It's not the same as allspice is it? I haven't seen that in NY.
The mixed spice is cinnamon and nutmeg. You can use some from each :)
Tasty, In Haiti it’s called Begnet… sooo good…

Some people use eggs does it make any difference?
I tried the recipe out and the final product was more like a pancake. Next time, we have to use a lot less flour....
Is it wheat flour or maize flour? thank you
I wonder what the difference is in taste without the baking soda?
It’s optional
