I could only watch it halfway because this movie was pointless. This is not what I'm used to from this channel. It was pretty much just about different ways to transfer of the parts. The 1-minute summary at the beginning of the movies just wastes our time.
There could be a reasonable explanation for this, like it wasn't viewable (hidden inside a machine) or it was not allowed to be filmed (company secret).
Yes i'm sure there was a reason and I know i shouldn't complain about free content and the other videos on the channel are mostly good but i really enjoy the sections they missed.@@imakeoscillations7026
I've repaired quite literally thousands of pneumatic hand tools over the years and I've never seen a KOYO bearing catastrophically fail, yes they will wear but honestly it's rare that I don't reuse them because they just last even in tools that get abused and don't get oiled, have water infiltration, or get laid into hard for years. It would have been nice to see what they do special, but I do understand that they need to protect their quality processes.
Nice videos man, as always. One suggestion if I may, it would be great if you could lower the music volume a bit, so that the factory speaks for itself.
In all other similar videos, no one EVER asked "hey, can we add some music to your videos?" but instead, greatly appreciate when there's NO MUSIC at all. I don't understand why content creators don't get this message. A soundtrack in a movie is there to provoke a certain emotion and we do not need to attach any emotion to most YT videos.
while the end product is nice, what amazes me is the work that went into designing, and building all the automatic production and assembly machinery. and it has to work correctly and have reasonable maintenance.
My late father sold KOYO ballbearings (and used them to make castor/pinch rollers) He visited Japan on invitation from KOYO back in the 80ties, this might well have been the Koyo plant he visited back then
You use long steel tube and cut into pieces. Then press the piece to form a ball. Cold forging. This process takes few milliseconds. I think NTN video shows that. Then polish the balls to make them as round as possible. Then heat treat. I am a tech. If bearing is not made in Japan, I don’t even hesitate to put it into the bin. Japanese bearing just lasts forever.
Hello, can I ask if you handle different sizes of bearing and how are you catering those varying sizes. Are you using adjustable machines? what are the adjustable machines, is the process are scheduled or simultanous
Nice video, but the music is WAY too intense and loud. I like to watch these kinds of videos because they're relaxing and interesting, but the soundtrack to this one sounds like I'm watching the dramatic burning of a forest or something.
@@luxbeci2 because they use Japanese bearings. I am a tech. Audi, BMW, and VW are just JUNK. I hate these cars more than anything. Always come back with same problem. I really want to send them to scrap metal right after they roll out from the factory. I always tell people not to buy them because they just waste our precious iron and other metals. The reason why Germany lost their sprit is forgetting quality and warranty is their limit and learned to fake people with interior quality. But Lexus does both better and way more reliable than Germans. The reason why Japanese bearings are the best? Japanese used iron to make swords. They have great know how to forge and quench iron. That’s why.

Very nice operation, I love Koyo they have always been of the best quality.
You hardly showed any of the process. They ball bearing grinding and polishing is the most interesting bit and you missed it.
