This was the most intense auction I have ever attended.
I have never seen such beautiful horses in my life.
I am so thankful to our community for guiding us towards the final selected horses.

You called her your little dragon and she’s going to have a very floaty look to her when shes moving when she’s full grown (she already does now). I think you should name her Aetheria. It means of the upper air, ethereal, or heavenly. It’s a pretty and unique name for a stunning girl.

@@Groundedsquirrel Thank you!! The Malinois has become popular from the movies and police and military work. The working lines are often too energetic for most people and then they get dumped because they didn't do their homework and got a working line dog instead of getting the much calmer show line Malinois. I prefer working line Malinois' because I enjoy working with them for French Ring sports. I'll try for French Ring Brevet next fall with my current prospect, Maxine.

Dragon - what a horrible name for such an exquisite horse! And it's not even female sounding. This filly is a work of art, a masterpiece. She deserves much better than to be called Dragon.

I'm in my 70's. I've never seen a stranger open a stall door in a strange barn to "see" if the two horses remembered each other. I would be outraged. Maybe this guy had permission first.
I was so tense at that moment
RIGHT!!! I could not believe he opened the stall door and stood directly in front of both of them as well. How irresponsible of him with 2 horses that he doesn’t know and who aren’t that familiar with each other anymore. People come up with some silly ideas with horses like they know what the horses are thinking.
We have purebred Arabian horses and breed a few each year depending on circumstances, i have had them for 40 yrs and have competed in a vast variety of disciplines with rewarding results in the past. I find this fella thinks hes more experienced and knowledgeable than he actually is being that i’ve seen in a few videos of his some things that are really quite questionable.
@@GlitterGlamGal well, he seems to be learning and committed to learning. He does seem to take good care of his horses and treat them very well. I’ll keep watching because I’m just curious enough 😉

My mare is a Friesian Saddlebred cross. I paid way too much for her, but like you, my heart had to have her. You will learn a lot from her. Friesians really are a breed apart.
Kelly, I am only just now reading this comment. Wow !! Good to know about your mare !!!! Thanks for sharing ! And let me know her personality type sometime. Drakaina is sensitive, but very caring
@ I could go on all day about her - but I won’t. She’s smart but sometimes gets stuck in her head, curious, sensitive to changes and energy (which unfortunately caused a lot of digestive issues until I got her the right help and sorted it out and changed my own energy and expectations to suit). She’s quite mouthy but in a playful or curious way, and sometimes I think she nuzzles to seek reassurance. She has ruined some reins and there are bite marks on the bridle. She will put her mouth on just about anything to check it out (flags, umbrellas, tarps, etc.). She can be pushy and dominant, especially in heat, so I have to be quite clear and consistent about my boundaries and what’s acceptable or not. But the new vet and her assistant did recently comment that she is the nicest Friesian they have met. Still working on some issues that I think I inherited from the prior owners, but she’s come a long way in the almost two years I have had her. You’re most fortunate that your baby will hopefully only know love and gentleness as she grows.
