I ended up making a single intersection :) Which sure, is gonna be backed up like crazy haha, but really wanted to try a tunnel and keep that riverfront open
@@skilzthatkilz11I think I haven't explained myself correctly; the industrial interchange is great. Looking at the interchange at the paused frame of 13:18, the west/left-bound highway has two pairs of on/off ramps to Palmtree Bridge while the east/right-bound highway only has an off ramp. Is that intentional?
ohhhh I see I guess yeah I don't need the on-ramp where you turn right off the bridge then loops back around to go west (left) relative to the screen. In fact, removing that would get rid of that weave stretch too. Good catch!
Thanks for the kind words @alvarofuster4272! And ha I always think mine look like a blob of spaghetti, we'll see how they deal with heavy traffic once the area develops.
those single thru lanes for the highways are cursed. its probably safer than having no merge zone, but in real life most cities would rather have a hard merge from the ramp in lieu of that. i would probably lower the slope for the city center side of myrtle street bridge. not only is 10% quite steep, the abrupt transition between the 10% approach and the flat bridge deck can actually damage trucks. perhaps by extending the approach over water, you can shrink the slope to 6% or so.
10 meters seems not too high above the river considering cargo ships, however i dont know the avgerage height of one which crosses rivers. Love the build though!
Hey thanks! And ah I was thinking it was a moveable bridge, so like the stretch in between the columns would lift up to let ships pass through. We have a couple of those here in Seattle
Sure thing! Everything except cim animations is on high, but global illumination, motion blur, fog, and depth of field are disabled. I then use the Lumina mod to brighten things up, post-exposure around .92, saturation and contrast between 30-50.
Ahh right I use TAA with the 8x option (though TBH, I think that looks a little blurry on my AMD card sometimes, but the other options look even worse)
Your job is soooo fucking accurate that is a lot of cool vibes to watch
13:18 i dont understand why we would have two seperate on and off ramps (left and right of Palmtree Way) for the westbound highway?

Once I added the tunnel though, at least there's an on-ramp to go east/right
You see me spinning right round😂
Another great video as usual! I envy your intersection skills so badly, I always mess mine up... Looking forward to the detailing part 2 video!

Those A/C units look like those party favors that you whip around

hey bro can you share your graphics settings, looks good to me, nice city building btw

@@skilzthatkilz11 what about the anti aliasing, this bothers me the most

And any upscaling? @@skilzthatkilz11
@@skilzthatkilz11 and you use any resolution scaling?
My saved games stopped opening after the recent update. Idk what to do. I use mods.
Hmm I think best bet is to disable all your mods and start adding them back one by one, see which one is the culprit
@@skilzthatkilz11 i should do that. It’s painful but i will do that🥲
Could also try deleting your CS2 `.cache` folder first, sometimes that helps, but it'll have to redownload all your mods next time you start the game.
@@skilzthatkilz11 i found the issue. It was the “realistic building occupancy” mod. I lost 30% of my population😭
what map theme is that
It's the Volcharia Theme!
