Reg Dixon And Mrs Mills BBC Radio 2 1971. Another one of the I'm Reg and I'm Glad BBC Radio 2 shows from Friday mornings in the summer of 1971. These came from the BBC Playhouse Theatre Manchester. Where the Ex Empress Ballroom Wurlitzer had been installed by the BBC making it the third BBC Theatre Organ.

How lovely to hear Reginald Dixon at the Playhouse Theatre in Hulme, Manchester back in 1971 playing what had been the original Blackpool Tower WurliTzer. Its also nice hearing the lively, happy playing of Mrs Mills. Both Reginald and Gladys were two of a type in their style of rhythmic playing. THANK YOU!

Thanks for your super comment not the best of recordings but hey ho these reel-to-reel tapes had laid in a damp shed a number of years and were given to me by the wife her late husband who had recorded these back in 1971 when he lived in Bristol. So it was great to save them they so nearly got thrown away like so many tapes have. Thanks again Kev.
