hey man love the video learned how to do everything im gonna get the game capture but for rn i just got the sound alerts setup and want to use the companion app but its not allowing me to stream with it says it needs and update but cant find one and the regular xbox app keeps having the screen go black stream or no stream
I'd recommend buying a capture card if you can, theres been a lot of updates that keep making it more difficult

Hey man, I discovered your channel a few days ago and I'll be real you've been so helpful compared to all the other guys I watch. I've got a question please, I'm about to complete my streaming setup but the problem is I do not have a high spec pc actually, all I have is my school laptop, but since I'm gonna be playing from my ps5 will that be a problem?
It definitely could be an issue but since you already have the gear, might as well try it. If not, you can just stream directly from the ps5 and bypass the laptop

It should show the gameplay before you go live. Make sure you don't have any other instances of the capture open at the same time (i.e. elgato capture)

You'll want to plug it into the PC on both methods :)

Depends on your goals. If you want it super easy to do but have a very basic stream then directly from Xbox. If not, then capture card route is better :)

Seems to be a common problem which twitch studio. I'd recommend switching to OBS Studio or Streamlabs
Hey why do I have echo on my twitch stream using the capture card on my Xbox ?
is it just 1 thing that echos like the game volume / microphone or is it everything?
I used your video and it worked the first time! Woohoo! However, I tried it again and when I started streaming on the PC and added the screen share to the Twitch Studio, it "pauses" the stream and doesn't work. Any insight there?? Thanks!

You cant use the $33 capture card for twitch studios and stream labs because they wont accept the capture card as a screen share option, only as a webcam option. Basically that means the visuals will play for the stream, but not the audio. I dont know if the same thing happens on OBS because I havent tried it on that software. If you want to use a capture card for twitch studios or stream labs your only option is to use a $100 capture card.
You need to add it as a video capture device source (that's normal) and then you can double click that source and check the box that says something like 'custom audio device' and then you'll get access to the audio
Only way for me to stream my Xbox to OBS is using the Xbox app and sadly I only do this for Overwatch because for whatever the reason, I can't stream the PC game even though I have a laptop

You'd need a computer and capture card for that
@@CpawsMusic oh okay thank you, my laptop isn’t great for streaming which is what I use and it makes my streams look really poorly through obs because of bad outdated specs. So I’m trying to use my Xbox to take the load while hopefully being able to add my facecam and chat overlay from my laptop separately without directly streaming from my laptop. Can’t seem to find a video on exactly how to do that. (Last edit) I do have both capture card and laptop. Just need a video to help me with that.

I stream with Xbox and I created three twitch screens for starting soon be right back and stream is over on Canva with my laptop and twitch studio beta can I use those overlays at all as I have own3d set up for alerts on my twitch
You can't use Twitch Studio directly from Xbox, you'll need to connect your Xbox to your computer via a Capture Card to stream via Twitch Studio

Hello there, I have a question about streaming on Xbox. I want to use the Spotify app on my console while streaming so that my viewers can also hear the music. However, I've noticed that if I stream through the Xbox Twitch app, the audience can't hear the music from the Spotify app; I can only hear it. Is it possible to make it work so the audience can hear the Spotify music too?
What equipment do I need? I don't need the best; just need it so the video quality is a good standard, and I can play music, and the audience will hear. Thanks in advance
Honestly I'm not sure if you can play music directly from the console. The alternative is to do a pc setup and use a capture card to connect your console gameplay to your TV or watch my video on how to stream on twitch Xbox and pc no capture card guide

You can use whichever. PayPal has more integration for donations alerts which is why it's more popular than CashApp for donations however a lot of people have issues with PayPal. You can sign up for a Business PayPal Account which is an alternative since donators will only be able to see your Business Name and nothing further. But it's entirely up to you.

make sure your capture card isnt open in any software at the same time and if that doesnt fix it then lowkey I'd recommend using streamlabs or obs studio instead

They may have updated it but I'm not sure, honestly I'd recommend going with OBS Studio or Streamlabs instead since Twitch Studio has been making interesting changes lately

im having issues with the xbox console companion app, it tells me that either my xbox or the app needs updating! My xbox is up to date but the app is not and says that there will be a new desktop experience coming soon? Google says to use the game bar but its saying that not compatible with my software... how do i connect my xbox to my twitch studio without that or the capture card? im running out of options im on little budget as well just so hard! i have one monitor, console with no bluetooth controller! ive managed to connect twitch from my mobile usingQR code but i can only watch on my phone as a viewer, im just so confused and struggling any ideas? am i doing soemthing wrong or do i need to get something? A lot of people are seeming to have issues with their capture cards working with Twitch Studio recently, I'd honestly recommend switching to OBS Studio or Streamlabs instead.

@@CpawsMusic unfortunately OBS is not really an option for me because it’s so in depth with the options and there’s no automatic like fixing to your computer but with twitch studio I have no problems streaming because it automatically can adjust to my computer but ty!
Im a little late, but when i i downloaded the xbox companion app there is no tab that allows me to stream my gameplay. I can only play remotely and when i start that im not able to screen share with twitch studio. Any help?

Could be you need to install the drivers from the website of your capture card, or if you're using the Elgato and you're not using a USB 3.0 port. Just some guesses :)

Isn’t it as easy as plug in console to monitor then start streaming with webcam? Webcam can pick up audio as well or just change setting in console to capture chat audio.
It is not. This is for people that want to stream xbox games and have the control to design their streams that you cannot natively do streaming directly through the console

Someone please help me!!! I have an xbox x only. With fast internet. Bought a 120hz monitor now streaming on Twitch but the stream are pixelated when i move fast. I TREID SEVERAL times to get Twitch to help me buit long delay in emails and i keep getting the same response. They ask me to give them more information about what set up im using. I have given them all of the information 4X already. And they keep sending me the same email. Going on 2 weeks now and still no help. I contacted microsoft and we reset and did all we could to the xbox. They are saying it is a twitch issue. I can find no settings on twitch and i am getting ZERO HELP from them. Can i not have clear streams with twitch alone or do i have to have streamlabs or other streaming services? I have been left hanging and do not know what to do. Any help is MASSIVELY appreciated. PLEAE HELP

Xbox companion is crap, all it shows is a black screen for a few minutes, before giving me an error.
