Makita DGA504 Not Working? Try This!

How I fixed A brushless Makita DGA504 Cordless Angle Grinder. This Grinder is part of the Makita LXT range 18v Cordless tools
It was making a horrible noise and had a burning smell. This can be sometimes the bearing at the rear of the motor however it was not the case this time. This video shows the fault and how I fixed it without any parts or expense. Can you fix a Makita Cordless Grinder brushless motor? Yes you can.
The fix carried out on this video was also carried out by another RUclips content provider called Dean Doherty he is an Irish man like myself I don't know him personally, I am a fan of his channel. My makita grinder sound like this and did that so I tried this and since I really didn’t want pay to get it fixed or buy a new one and opened it up to see this was the problem did what you said and works fine now thank you 🙏 for this video

i have one that turns off and then immediately off i think its going into overload protection but i cannot determine why

Take out the 4 screws at the front and pull the motor out make sure no dirt has built up underneath where you removed the motor from because it can stop the motor rotating freely
