Makita cordless brushless grinder very stiff and won't run. How to fix it.

This Makita grinder came in not running as the spindle is to stiff to turn.
This is a common one for cordless brushless grinders that have seen quite an bit of work.
The constant running and banging around causes the field or stator to wear away the plastic housing holding it in place.
Normaly only see it on tools that have been running for several years.
This one is 6 years old, but still trying to run.
A small piece of paper is all that is needed to pack the field put so the stator and rotor are centered again.
A very simply fix, buy it works a treat and is simple and cheap.
You could replace the housing like I have done in the past. But this trick gives you the same result.

Same machine. Only does half a turn before stopping. Had the same problem rubbing between stator and rotor. Is it posible that stator has some burned winding?

Hi Dean I have the same machine, when I press the switch it makes an electrical sound you can hear like a ping just once every time you press it but it does not engage the grinder.. I also have the same problem on a bihui tilevibration beater. Pls help

Ты что творишь? Не можешь по человеческий какую нибудь резиновую прокладку поставить? И инструмент надо чистить. Сделал чисто по свински

А тот кто отдавал в ремонт не потрудился даже снаружи машинку протереть, такое и отношение. Резина промнется со временем, лучше из аллюминиевой банки вырезать подкладку.
