What Are Dark Pools & Why Are They Controversial?

Darrk Pools are a form of Multi-lateral Trading Facility (MTF) or Alternative Trading System (ATS). It is basically an off-exchange trading venue or forum where large orders can be fulfilled without the general public knowing as it happens.
