Great display! Costa Mamalis (Pop Culture Livingroom) was the original creator that posted the tutorial that Peter followed. Peter has a larger following but I feel like he deserved a mention for his contribution.

Thank you for sharing great job and looks very nice. Retired and small space available and just got into 3D printing plus income is limiting, combinations to seek money saving ideas and still achieve a awesome display. Once again thanks for sharing and have a Happy New Year.

Awesome video Graeme! I’m really glad my video helped inspire ya with the custom build, thanks for that quick shoutout 😊
Man I was considering getting this exact Muscle Rack with 24” depth for another build to have the option for larger vehicles in the future so it’s really cool to see how well it worked out here.
Btw I’m super envious of your Batmobile & Tumbler 🤩🤤 Happy collecting my friend! 🙏

i actually just finished a case myself. I just need to add lighting . For the time being ima put rechargeable LED bars. 2 tips to make the case have a closer esthtic to moducase, is get pvc foam boards for the back boarding. The only thing is they could be a little pricey, i bought 15 boards for $80on amazon and i could complete 2 full cases and have some left over. They cut like butter, lightweight and look sleek & clean. Its really the best tip for these shelves. I also believe its what moiducase actually uses themselves. Tip #2 will be to get acrylic felt fabric for the shelves. I got a few yards more than what i needed on walmart for like $25. Amazon has it as well. Real 100% wool felt is expensive. What i got is a thin synthetic felt (acrylic felt). You couldn't tell the difference except that its thin. Which is what we want. And that's another thing moducasse uses. Is felt fabric for the shelves. Your case came out great!!! The fabric is preference. Some like to use faux leather, its whatever you prefer. But i highly, STRONGLY recommend the pvc foam boards, i wouldn't do it any other way. It's perfect for this! The easiest thing to work with as well. All you need is a box cutter. Great video & nice display

Get a smart plug with basic led 3N adhesive small led lights. You can then operate lighting from your phone . That way all lights are equally sized due to their small size .

I have a couple of thoughts for how to build the next one. First, cut the back into individual pieces for each shelf. Cut them wide enough to cover the shelf adjustment holes on each side of the frame. Glue magnets to the back of each backing and use those to adhere the backs to the shelf frame. That will hide those adjustment holes. Second, in the same manner, go to the trim aisle of the big box hardware store and buy some thin slats of wood. They are really inexpensive. Paint them black and using the same magnet solution, cut them to size and use them to frame the front of the shelving frame and hide those adjustment holes as well. This would make it look a lot like your other shelves. Regardless, the collection looks great!

I am thinking i am going to Take some spray tack adhesive to put that cloth on the backing board like covering a speaker box with vinyl. then secure with tape or staples. will keep it from possibly sagging over time. I may paint my boards though . still debating.

Now that I'm getting to the lighting aspect of my display, I'm reviewing DIY cases again. I got your previous message on the other video about the lighting. Im actually gonna go with a this type of lighting fixtures with diffusers on them already. I see you have the 48'' wide rack, i actually have the 36''w rack. And the lights im looking at is the same ones in your description except that there 2ft not 4ft like the ones in your display case. Are the bars actually 4ft long each? I see you installed 2 in each shelf. Do these have enough wire connecting each light bar from shelf to shelf? Or did you have to buy extension cords for them? That's what Costa another RUclipsr recommended. I'm a little confused of the measurements in the listing on amazon, but from what i understand from it, It should be long enough. I just kinda want to ask someone personally that actually has used them to be certain. Thanks for the time & help. & Great reviews they help the community out a ton.

@@DonPeppinoo I had to use a 10ft extension cord to have them all hooked up together as the top shelf lights only went about halfway down the shelving unit in the back. Hope this helps! Thanks for watching!
