Speaking for me; I was not a huge Muse fan until I heard their music on the Twilight tracks. However, because I heard one song I liked, I investigated Muse in their entirety and I am now a Muse fan all the way around.
I agree-if a movie causes a band to get more recognition, who cares how the recognition got there; if true fans like the band they're grateful.

Ok I just wanna say this is some incredible talent. These guys have a part where they have to sing in harmony over each other while also playing their respective instruments. These guys are amazing.
They don't make music like this anymore. One of the greatest live performances ever. What a concert!
I feel like nobody notices how the riff at 3:39 is insanely amazing and sexy. It's simple to do but it... it fits so well. It finishes the song with a "boom" with the Supermassive Black Hole line being more intense thanks to the riff. Just, wow.
Muse is one of the few bands that truly sounds even better when their live. Most bands have some post-production that they need to do like bringing out the vocals or cleaning up the guitar sound, but Muse simply doesn't need anything. They're are definitely one of the most talented bands ever.

I saw Muse last night at the Adelaide entertainment centre n south Australia- sold out. They nailed us to the wall and blew my F.kn head off. Great sound - no distortion, drums sounded like cannons. They did old and new and I loved them.

From what I know, Muse is Meyer's (Writer of Twilight) favorite band and used their songs for inspiration or something like that. Probably there are also Muse songs in Twilight movies, but IDK since I never watched them.

After listening to some of these live videos, I said to myself, "if Bellamy can perform Supermassive Black Hole live the same as on record, he is the best performer in the world". Given how great his voice is and all of the amazing songs he's sang, that one always sounded a little bit... produced, tuned. But he proved me wrong here. Best performer hands down.
