In one of Gene Odom’s interviews, he says how RVZ caught the fish and got the truck of his dreams before he passed. RIP RVZ. Thank you for sharing this footage. So cool.

Whomever posted thank you very much... I was only 1yr old when ronnie passed, yet his music is the soundtrack to my life.. I've never even pondered what he would have driven, but it's no surprise. The kindred spirit now more real thinking back at my first car, a 1965 Chevrolet C10 stepside.
Tho whomever it concerns, Jason R.

Chevy's are GM and it's junk. It's a good looking truck but it ain't no big block Dodge boy's.....

@@wildestcowboy2668 All US made vehicles are junk. There's a reason why you don't see ISIS riding around in Dodge trucks over there in the desert. Toyota cars and trucks last twice as long as any American made vehicle. If a Ford, Chevy, or Dodge has 100,000 miles on it it in most cases they don't have much longer to go. If you see a Camry with 100,000 miles you don't think twice about the car lasting for a long time. They usually go for a minimum of 200,000 but on average they last 260,000 miles. In my family we have had a total of 6 Camrys. One got a knock in the engine at 180,000 so we sold it. The car ended up lasting the girl we sold it to another year and no telling how many miles and that was with her driving it 100 miles a day back and forth to work. But the rest lasted over 250,000 miles and we sold them all still being used as someone's daily driver. The Camry my wife now drives has 270,000 miles and is still going strong. I'd love to buy a US made vehicle but when you have to buy 2 of them to last as long as 1 Toyota or Honda it's just not a smart financial decision. If you're not worried about money then you can drive whatever you want to but if you're wanting to get the car that will last the longest and be the cheapest per mile US vehicles aren't even an option.

Beautiful - glad that they left it basically “stock appearing”………👍
Besides the steering wheel, I wondering if there are any neat personal touches to this truck that relate directly back to RVZ and the Skynyrd days? An example might be the new wooden bed being fabricated out of salvaged wood from “Hell House” or something cool like that…….???

@@Relic-mt8oe I am not kin to Ronnie. But my brother (Rusty "Russ) was good friends to Leon and went to school with Allen. I grew up around music. My best friend's ( Joey) brother was Jack Lloyd and he had a band that played at other friends house (Johnny and Gary McLaren's house) all the time. I don't know but some of them could have been friends of Skynrnd.Yea I grew up in Jacksonville Fla. I left in 1969. Ronnie.
