Through her innovative manipulation of content, her use of unconventional materials, and her mastery of production techniques, she pushes the boundaries of book design, making each a sculptural object that can be manufactured at scale. On this rare visit to San Francisco, Boom used an overhead camera to present several of her books from Letterform Archive’s collection, exploring the process of creating each one, and demonstrating the tactile and sensory possibilities of the form.
