I have the same disorder as Gus Walz. I was diagnosed as an adult; which made me cry from relief because I no longer felt like a moral failure. Unfortunately, it’s not recognized in the DSM-V, which means accommodations are difficult because you don’t meet the requirements for a 504. Normally, it is diagnosed in conjunction with another disorder (known as a co-morbid diagnosis for my non-psych brothers and sisters), which does meet the requirements for accommodations. I am so grateful for this wonderful young man and his wonderful family. I hope that others can learn and find more understanding.

And if they have teachers that can help them build these adaptive learning skills, they can accomplish some amazing things. You’re funny
No. Gut I like how his son has so much love for his dad.
So you seem to being snarky. Don’t you believe in the American dream? But thanks for acknowledging you think they will win by calling Walz the VP rather than the nominee.
@@ariaflame-au Joke. Harris was handed this without getting one vote. Why? BLACK
Let me say
We all are on the spectrum and Know family and friends that are on the spectrum too
I really can't pay attention to what she's saying.
My God, those eyes...!
🌷🥰🌷🥰Gus Walz🌷🥰🌷
I met a child that couldn't speak. She could only make sounds with her voice. She could understand though.
I was diagnosed with NVLD last year, in my late 30s. It’s weird.
I love gus.
Upim still confused as to why its called non verbal learning disability if they can talk
I wondered that and I think it has confused a lot of people. I think the disability is not a verbal one. If I think of it that way, it kind of makes sense. But could use a better name, surely!
Ok but I'm weirded out by the doctor's filters. She looks like she is AI generated.
I remember when Sarah plain introduced trig the press went after her using him as a prop. Also Kai , trumps granddaughter was criticized by the press as a prop so Gus is fair game to call a prop
Allen Kevin Miller Susan Lee Sharon
After reading some of the posts here and chastise Ann Colter for her comment …. Well I’m left speechless. The ‘supporters’ have presented a number of diagnoses. Ann just said the behavior was weird. All the pundits are making the same comment.
Two beautiful 😻 Asian ladies

If anybody says that’s normal…..
Why is her face a different color than her neck and hands?
Diligent on the tv make up. It’s ok.

What is non verbal learning disability?
When people have good language skills but struggle with making sense of things they see; bad at geometry, people may tend to get lost easily, complicated intersections may not make sense right away, so would busy group events, new social situations to name a few instances of potential struggle.
@@isabelleg9118Exactly 💓!
You explained better than she did! I have 32 years of experience in this field & what Gus did was AMAZING 🎉🎉🎉! Thank you for being kind that is a rare action in the world today 🎉
Is his kid on the spectrum?
it's weird seeing NVLD getting news coverage

Hey just so everyone knows Ethan Williams has a Law Enforcement style 9 m.m. on him on the property 218 County Road 170 he is now wearing around his waist. Just want to make sure everyone knows.
Thanks, man. Thanks for letting me know. Last thing I want to do is show up 218 County Road oblivious to the fact that I could be in danger!
Thank the founders that owning a “law enforcement style 9mm” isn’t illegal, is this similar to a weapon of war or just standard scary black gun.
Can you tell us when he goes to sleep?
Wait until they find out he’s lying about that too
Who’s lying about what?
That's why they give biden so much ice cream
That makes no sense whatsoever. Weird comment
The kid's hair style is bad

Democrats supporters mock TRUMP and his KIDS i wonder what would REPUBLICANS supporters would say about KAMALA and WALZ kids would they make fun of them but im pretty sure REPUBLICANS supporters have more RESPECT
Typing like Trump isn't as flattering as you might think it is.
Furthermore, Trump's children are adults and were involved in his administration. They are political figures, culpable for many issues under his administration. They're fairgame.
Tim Walz's son is 17, and Republicans did mock him for this because they're despicable people.
We judge Trump and his kids for the content of their character (which is reprehensible at best).
You judge Democrats' kids for having disabilities.
It's not the same thing, not even close.
Respect? Is that what they called January 6th?
I remember when the left leaning media was bashing Trump's son Barron in 2020, how totally hypocritical.
Liar
@@PH-tv2sw It's true. Democrats are the biggest hypocrites on Earth.
I remember when randos on the internet tried to bash Barron's son and the left leaning media not only wouldn't repeat it, the left leaning media squashed it. You can tell the difference between what is posted in random dark corners of the internet and journalism...right...right???
Who, specifically, was bashing Barron Trump? I never heard anything about that, but will call them out if you give me some names.
I am Trump all the way but your statement is false. Walz son has a great love for his dad.
He was over vaccinated 😂
Strange comment, it makes absolutely no sense. What is it you are attempting to say?

Im crying 😢 I work with non verbal kiddos and let me tell you, some of these parents PRAY their kid would express that much verbally! It is A BLESSING to have a kid, disability or not! These people should clear their mirrors!!!
