@@gianmariaroza6084yea I think that’s because our other choices were the 3D or the OG and this is more like a whole new game. Especially if you didn’t have an emulator to play the NES version
Interestingly, even though the pixel remaster of this version of the game is visually closer to the famicom version of FF3, it uses the stat changes and overall job stat growth changes from the 3D remakes.
Your characters deal a lot more damage too. If he still had 7k, he’d have died in just 2 or 3 turns here. I don’t really care for the balance in this version tbh, but oh well. It’s a gorgeous remaster either way.
I'm curious what your mages' job levels were at this point, because I'm trying this fight right now with a level 32 party and mages around job level 50, dealing and healing about 2/3 the damage yours are doing. Seems a bit disproportionate
The white and black mage with the scholar robe and scholar hat! That's nuts ! I just turned my game on and went to South West sonoria and bought them and changed my jobs to white mage and black mage and just like I thought ...it wouldn't let me equip...you get a couple of those scholar robes and hats right around the time you get your second set of jobs and there for the scholar job..I have ff3 on Ds and psp...I started tripping out when I saw you had them equiped cause I know I tried to equip them before and you can't ..I still tried 😂🤣and nope not on Ds or psp...also if you have a thief job level 81 or higher you can steal the best Lance in the game from Odin gungnir .. actually I lied sorry the magic Lance is the best at 145 and gungnir is 140 ...you get the magic Lance from the master Smith for getting a dragoon job level 99😊
I think ff 3 is the only one that's worth it to be honest... im not interested in any of the other ones. I would think of ff 6 but then world reborn mod is just to perfect in my opinion.
@@lowhp_comicright I think the psp versions of each games are the best. Ff 6 is one of my favorites and I'm a huge fan of the world reborn mod so that's the only reason why I love ff 6 on the pc. Square needs to take note.
@@bayumahendra1797 I get what Square tried to do. I think if ff 1,2,4,5,and 6 came out a few years ago like before the psp or steam version came out then chances are it would of been a big hit. The only reason I think this works with 3 is because we only had one version which was the ds and although I like it.. it simply doesn't capture the essence of ff3 in my opinion.. not like how the ff 3 pixel remaster does.
The Pixel Remaster series used a lot of sound effects from the 3 SNES games. For example the bio sound in this video is an edited version of the SNES FF4 version (It was reused in SNES FF5). Works with the retro style the devs were aiming for.
My question- is this game super easy made for babies like they did to 1 and 2? It’s been that way since the GBA. This has never had an official port besides the Japanese NES version before now so I have hope that it isn’t babified.
it is unfortunately in the original cure3/curaga healed around 400HP on all party members and in this remake cure3 heals around 800-1000 hp to all party members.... also cura heals a good 500HP on all which is WAY too much for cure2.
@@randyjsmash8028 that sucks. I'm not getting it then. They didn't have to do that... imo all that I'd change to make people not rage quit is let you level up faster. What a disgrace
I like it personally. I would’ve liked it more if they used the same effort that they did on the PSP remakes for FF1, FF2 and FF4 which imo are more polished and beautiful than these, but it’s post FFXV Square Enix so it’s better than nothing lol
in terms of attack animation there is the same amount of effort, but sprite-wise a lot of the effort seems to be in the battle backgrounds/overworld tiles bc a lot of the sprites used in battle have been made for spinoffs wayyyy before pixel remasters were even announced
The gameplay is still very awesome.
classic FF is still the winner
I agree even after FFVI-PR.
FFIII-PR is objectively the best pixel remaster out of the six of them.

Wow, I didn't know Jump and Odin were in 3.
Both debuted here.
FF3 started the job systems and summons. Dragoon already existed on FF2 but FF3 introduced the Jump ability.
Haha you called one of them Anxiety.

Doesn't he have 7000hp in the original? This was mental. Maybe they beefed up some of the bosses

Yeah, the PSP versions of I and II are much better and while I love the 3D remake of III, this one is different enough to stand out.
I'm still absolutely pissed off that 5 and 6 didn't get the same treatment as 1,2 and 4, instead they got butchered by something incredibly ugly

It used the Unity engine.
