They do put out a deep bass response when listening to Bluetooth speakers & car stereos. I own one & use it mainly for music purposes. I use a 15ProMax as my daily driver.
I had a XR mid last year until I got a 13 and having them in the same color, you can't tell much of a difference in a general sense. I kinda wish I had kept my XR I gave like $225 for one that was in excellent condition with 90 percent battery health. While I love the iPhone 13, I just feel like for the price difference the XR was an excellent value budget iPhone. Unless you obsess over specs like 5g or having an OLED screen, the XR is very impressive even in 2024.
definitely one of my favorite phones to speak of yes the battery life isn’t the best but thats to be expected for a 6 year old phone now. I can still get a good 4 hours of screen on time with 88% battery health as long as its light to medium tasks such as: listening to Spotify, going through social media, some RUclips and some light web browsing. All in all i can say for the price its still a great phone but if you have the money definitely go for a 13
Still updates, so I’d call it good! Also I’d put anything on Apple re-releasing the XR design as the new iPhone SE. so I’m sure we’ll be seeing this design again, but with USB C
I had an XR from 2019 until 2023, it was okay, but towards the end it did slow down immensely and would get extremely hot, too hot to even hold anymore. The battery life was also horrific, could barely last 4 hours of a day with my heavy use before it’d be on the verge of dead. Caught myself walking around with a power bank at all times, even if i was on 100% and only going out for an hour or two. Just couldn’t depend on it lasting
Yeah the XR had an amazing battery life in the first two years of it’s released but I remember in 2020 it couldn’t keep up that well with the new iOS. So from 8-10 hours that it lasted the first two years with the next iOS in 2020 it barely lasted 6 hours. And of course with each update the battery became worse and worse despite being decreased with its capacity. But Apple deliberately makes the batteries worse with each update so to force people and buy the newest iPhones
the oldest iphone apple certified resellers sell is the iphone 11, which is the newer version of the iphone xr with night mode and an ultra wide camera. if you really want a xr you can get it used only.
had one of these from 2020 to 2022 and it was AWFUL. i lost all my notifications for a whole year. it always got really hot, not to mention the glass back
@@BELGRV It stands for Pulse Width Modulation. It’s used in phones with oled displays to control brightness. It works by rapidly turning the screen's pixels on and off at a specific frequency, creating the illusion of different brightness levels. The width of these on-off cycles determines the perceived brightness. This process produces a flicker effect that’s not noticeable to the vast majority of people. However, for 10% of people, the flicker can cause eye strain, headaches, or nausea.

Yeah, I believe the SE4 has the same design aesthetic 😊
The iPhone XR also is next to the most known version of iPhone with 2-3 cameras.

The iPhone XR has Force Touch.
No, it has haptic touch...long press.
@@eamonob84 Thanks for your clarification!
The Xr is still good and a good choice for the 10% of us that can’t use OLED due to PWM
PWM?
