Ingredients:
Chole :
Soaked chole - 1.5 cups
Onion - 3
tomato - 2
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
Cinnamon stick- 1 inch
Black cardamom -1
Tea leaves - 1 tsp
Coriander seeds - 2 tbsp
Cumin seeds -1 tbsp
Fennel seeds - 1 tbsp
Cloves - 6
Mace - 1/2 inch
Cinnamon stick - 1 inch
Green cardamom - 3
Nutmeg - 1 pinch
Black pepper - 10
Dry Red chilli - 6
Turmeric powder -1/2 tsp
Red chilli powder -2 tsp
Salt to taste
Ghee -2 tbsp
Ginger - 2 inch
Garlic cloves - 10
Aamchur powder -1 tsp
Bhature :
All purpose flour - 2 cups
Sooji /rava - 1/3 cup
Curd - 1/2 cup
Baking soda - 1/2 tsp
Salt - 1 tsp
Sugar -1 tsp
Water

Hi Kabita. We tried bature yesterday, they came out absolutely delicious & were better than any restaurant bought ones. We followed your recipe to the T. Instead of chole, we used dal & made it with the same masalas you told to put in chole...so that became masala dal. Both were too good. Thank you!

I have been making bhatura for a very long time. I tried making the way you do and I must say the results are AMAZING! A totally different texture and feel. So spongy from the outside and the inside jaal as you say....... I have not seen that before when I made Bhatura. Thank you for sharing.

Everyone should try this recipe, it proved to be the best one from among thousands of videos out there. I've been making chole bhature for such a long time now but this recipe brought out the perfect taste and texture of the dish. Seriously ditch the chole masala packets that you buy from stores and try home made recipes with natural ingredients.
