Good morning Sandra! Yeah this channel is one of those places I go where everyone is positive and I've never seen politics brought into it or people being mean. Good vibes
We live on a small farmette. The flower gardens are mine, and my hubby takes care of the veggie garden. We planted a variety of pumpkins this year too. Oh my word! They grew everywhere-- into the corn and tomato plants. The blue ones have been my favorite and they go great with my supertunia bubblegum that I don't have the heart to pull yet. So fun to share with family and friends.
I used to live on couple acres and my husband had his pumpkin patches with many varies. I used to take lots of pictures with grandkids sitting on the bigger ones. So fun. Thank you for the information.
I really like that you put the name on the screen when you show the variety of pumpkins or flowers. That way I can take a screenshot and go back true them when I’m about to order seeds. Thank you so much for the inspiration! I got big plans for next year for our little property ❤️
This really is the best channel out there. Everyone is so kind and humble. It’s a joy to show up & watch your awesome content & also communicate with our GA family. ♥️
Great to see the different varieties and their names. Very helpful in the wide and confusing world of pumpkins🎃 thanks for sharing and congratulations on your beautiful harvest👏🏾👏🏾
I love it! I had 4 plants I grew in grow bags this year and ended up with 11 pumpkins.... I was so thrilled. I love fall and I'm so proud of my little porch display every time I pass it. Will try and grow more variety next year. I love all the ones you grew
I love the idea of spreading crop vines out! I did something similar this year. We were preparing our property to host our daughter's wedding and had a couple unsightly areas with very little time or money to landscape and plant. So instead, I threw in a bunch of pumpkin and sunflower seeds, and voila...instant cover and beauty! A great weed barrier and filler in difficult spaces.
Your pumpkin and squash vine crop videos are my ultimate favorite. I keep learning and gaining new ideas every year. I have a small yard and I can't wait to some day grow a pumpkin patch like this. I hope Aaron and you do grow a larger crop next year, my vote is with him lol. I would love to see you add in new varieties and different types as you have been it's so nice. I have bought so many seeds and have tried so many in my area, last year I think we got 2 small pumpkins, this year we got 6 and 4 different varieties. I definitely am wanting that hot chocolate one now as well. Love the color
What a beautiful array of pumpkins in terms of colours and shapes, amazing what nature can provide us. The editing of the video is just as great expecially the parts where Benjamin and Aaron had joined in.
I love the variety of pumpkins that you have. I only planted honey nut, spaghetti and pumpkin pie this year. My compost grew something early in the year but we turned it in July. That squash was tenacious and regrew. It goes 20 feet in all directions. I let it grew because why not. I have several large pumpkins from it. Still green but oh my!
I put compost in my flower area and something came up, I let it grow on the trellis. Turns out it was a butternut squash. I never grew it before. I made soup out it, delicious. 🙂
Thanks for putting the names of the pumpkins and squash up on the screen. That helps my visual-learning brain so much! I saved this info for my seed shopping list. 🧡🙏
Laura and Aaron Sweethearts♡♡♡ Y'all are Such A BLESSING to watch♡♡♡ You two pitching those pumpkins reminded me of pitching watermelons back in the day ♡♡♡ WOW!!! That brought such Joy to my heart♡♡♡ Thanks-a-million for sharing y'all's Bountiful harvest with us♡♡♡ GOD BLESS EVERYONE ♡♡♡ Have The Most Amazing Beautiful Blessed Peaceful Evening ♡♡♡ Y'all are Such An Inspiration ♡♡♡ Keep on Keeping on ♡♡♡
2:50 I bought the same pair of pruners this monday at Walmart but from another brand :P I pruned all the plants in my garden and this kind of pruners are great, quite strong and sharp, and comfortable, I used to bought garden tools for my late dad, Rest in Peace, he loved take care of his plants but this is one of the first tools I buy just for me. Hugs from Sonora, Mexico.
Love, love, love to see all those glorious pumpkins and squash. I need to try planting some pumpkins next year. Like many that follow you, It makes my day to wake up to a new Garden Answer video each morning. I’m going through a rough emotional patch in life caring for my Father who is suffering from Alzheimer’s and somehow after watching your videos and all the energy, positivity and beauty that you show us, I have the strength to get through another day. And while I will never be able to be as productive as you are, because of you I now have one citrus tree, one olive tree, amyrillis that I have kept alive for three years, and only buy PW and have much more success when I do plant. Thank you so much for what you guys do, it is not just educational and entertaining it is therapeutic for me at least.
Fantastic! I like the bright green one that got picked too early. I'd love to see you grow a giant pumpkin! You could make it a contest and do a montage video of everyone's pumpkins, like you did with the sheds!
Laura and Aaron, I learn so much more than gardening from watching your channel. You've taught me so much about abundance, beauty, generosity, teamwork, boldness, and graciousness. When I say I thank God for your sweet family, it's not just an expression. I can't say thank you enough.
Your pumpkin harvest videos are the best! A day harvesting pumpkins is every kid's (and adult's) perfect day! My pumpkin crop did not do well this year - first time trying - but learned a lot and will try again next year! Thank you for all the inspiration you provide!!!!
You make me want to grow pumpkins next season!! That's amazing and I love all the colors, such a beautiful palette. What a wonderful and bountiful harvest ❤️
Next harvest video you should wear a go pro and make it longer form. I love hearing the rustling and cut of harvesting pumpkins, it would be so relaxing!
We bought the pumpkins and flowers for the centerpieces, going to several grocery stores and box stores to get a variety. We carved out the pumpkins and sprayed the inside with Lysol and put the large Solo cups inside to hold the water with preservative. We separated and spread out all the flowers on the dining room. We then went around the table picking flowers from each pile to make the bouquets. Each was a little different and all so pretty. We had so much fun doing this. Thank you so much for your videos,Laura.
Yay, this is always my favorite harvest!!!! I love all of the pumpkins but the little orange ones are my favorite!! I have them throughout all of my decorations!! I loved the pumpkin and squash toss!!! That was fun!! Thanks for another great video!!
You mentionned squash bugs, what did you do with the ones you found ? Hopefully they won't find the pumpkins patch next year but in the spirit of prevention, is there anything you can do now to help disrupt their life cycle to have less bugs next season ?
