I feel the shock towers or what they would be considered on the erevo are to flimsy to put to tough of springs in the I’d just run thicker oil to start but when I have my little dude apart I always wish there where aluminum pieces for that and there could be
Great video bro I'm going to look into those upgrades I just bought a mini e revo brushed and I been pretty rough with it and haven't broke anything but the spur gear teeth looks almost flattened out. Any suggestions on upgrades on that? Any help appreciated
Didnt hear if you nhave changed pinion? Im about to buy these wheels and i always use 3s do you know what pinion would be best? What springs do you use? :)
@@rippinrc8055thanks man! How durable do it get? Seems like you have to spend a lot of money to make it durable but that it still won’t be as durable as its competitors like granite grom or mjx 14 series.
@@rippinrc8055 awesome! I'm converting my 1/16 slash to the erevo and was thinking of going with the stock green springs but I'll probably use the black ones now. Thanks!
Great video bro
Thank you 🤙 💯

I agree, it would definitely be nice to have some aluminum options for that area.

I would suggest Hot Racing. I've used their spur gears before and they are rock solid 💯😎

Using stock pinion gear. I'm using the stiffest in the front and one step less stiff in the back. So I believe black in front and tan in the rear.

It seems durable enough now. No breakage yet at least 😅
How do those stiffer springs rates feel?
It feels great and has much better control. Doesn't hop and bounce nearly as much and definitely soaks up the big hits much better 💯🤘

@D_Trigger make sure to use thicker shock oil as well to increase rebound strength for the stiffer spring 💯🤘
RPM hubs plastic is it good do you know ?
Yes, they hold up very well 💯🤘
What tyres?
Pro-Line Trenchers 🤘😎
