I cycled around Norway for a month last year. I definitely wouldn't have done it if i hadn't discovered your channel. This website is only going to make planning a trip easier. Keep up the amazing work Matt. We all appreciate it.
One thing: Be prepared for shifting wether. On manday(May the 22th,) it was sunny and 15 degrees Celsius and today , 3days later , Sno on Saltfjellet, cold and very windy.
I cycled from Nordkapp to Lindesnes last year - thanks to you and other inspirational sources. Thank you! Please forget about the algorithmes, please don't post videos just for the sake of it. Focus on quality as you have done. On whether or not you have something to tell/show. In the long run, that's what is going to pay off - and why you started this whole shabang in the first place.
Hei Matthew, I am so absolutely thankful for your work both on the website and the videos! Somehow by strolling around on google street view, I found a lot of fascination for Norway and since then planned on visiting it one day and travel it by bike. While I was planning my route, I went on reddit and asked people to look into my plans. They gave me alot of feedback and your channel name appeared in every second comment - thats how I found you. I found great entertainment and pleasure in watching almost every video youve created and when I found out about CycleNorway, it was as if you knew Id want to visit norway this summer. Perfect timing for me, I couldnt be happier. Your work is so useful and helpful - thanks a lot!
You have built an excellent website, Matthew! I'm so happy to see you back on RUclips. You really do make quality content and I've even subscribed/watching your videos for a couple of years now. I'm moving to Europe in a few years and can't wait to be able to fully access your website and cycle in some of the beautiful spots you've show. Thank you for everything you do - you're an amazing human.
I just recently booked my trip to Norway, thanks to watching your Lofoten Islands videos! Cant wait to cycle your route for them! The website is awesome too, SO very helpful for planning!
One day later, and I am still laughing at your merchandise joke :-). I said I love your sense of humor some time ago, and you simply don't fail, you have a talent for it. In the second life you can try being screenplay writer :-). All the best for you Matthew!
Great work on the website! I'm sure you'll get this channel back up soon as well! You deserve more subscribers. My favourite RUclipsr on my favourite activity in my favourite country! :D
Congrats with the website launch! Im proud to be an ambassador for Cycle Norway and hope I can contribute with a lot of routes over the upcoming years. Strava reminded me today that its one year since we took that big loop around Gaustatoppen watching Tour of Norway. This upcoming Sunday Tour of Norway will taking the Suleskarrvegen. With all that snow it will been some spectacular tv pictures you normally don't see in the pro peloton
Thanks for contributing to the site! That was a great ride in Telemark last year. The Tour of Norway going over Suleskarrvegen this year will be epic - winter wonderland in May! Ps: I fixed the miles issue on the maps!
Great work with the website and the YT channel. Thank you to the moon and back. Its good quality content. I live in Sweden, will come to Norway for bikepacking sooner or later. Will definately choose some of your routes then. Cheers!
Well done mate - a phenomenal job. You should be immensely proud. I've always wanted to do a cycle tour of Norway but have been put off by 1) the cost 2) the high chance of rain 3) the tunnels . . . so I've gone to places like Spain, Switzerland, France Italy instead. But I'm gonna pore over your routes/info now, and get over there hopefully on a lower cost, sunny tour with minimal tunnels. Your videos are amazing. Keep up the good work. I hope you still find time to get out on your bike.
Mostly going on motorbike myself, but loves your journeys and content! There is a lot in there that is gold even for us lazy bastards that need a motor to get around!
Website looks brilliant, thank you for putting it together. I just *wish* a ferry from the UK to Norway would start again (I see there is some plans, but last time I checked there hasn't been much progress). Am trying to avoid flying with a bike, but the overland route takes ages! The "Storage of Bike Bag/Case" section was v.good - finding a bike box storage location is a big blocker.
They say 2026 but I'm unsure if this will happen. The governments of the UK and Norway should subsidies it. It would create a lot of tourism traffic between the countries. Every Norwegian use to take that boat on a school trip to the UK.
Don't worry about YT, they hate everyone who is different from their business strategy. Care about the things. You love and want to succeed in, that's more important than YT. You know det ordner seg -til slutt. 😀

Du gjør en super jobb for syklister i Norge! And here is a comment for the infamous algorithm to thrive on😊
Han har nästan övertalat mig att semestra i grannlandet...

‘From idea to reality’v- that says it all. A mammoth effort and certainly worthwhile - thank you

I know they are expensive, but the Chipmunks add so much to the musical content for your videos. Please make use of their wonderful talents.
The Chipmunks will be covering all the mountain drone footage for my videos this year. We can sing along together!

I don't know how show business works, but do you have to pay extra to have Alvin sing solo?
