Nearly three years after the infamous launch of Cyberpunk 2077, the major expansion Phantom Liberty has launched alongside major update 2.0. CD Projekt did good, Cyberpunk is good. Edgerunners was also good. Oh also the ray traced NVIDIA path tracing RTX nonsense looks incredible.

I always loved the game and I pre-ordered it for ps4!
I had a good time with it at launch, thus I am of the "always good" camp.
It really was good, if only for the story. People have loved games with bugs before, no idea why the internet decided to pick on this game like a pack of hyenas.
I can't think of any game that i have played that made me jaw-dropped. The story, the cyberpunk world, character development, characters itself and the music was amazing. My best game ever. Took me days to recover

I'm happy I've waited till the 2.0 for discovering this game.
I think my playthrough is 33% of me just looking around me, taking stairs and get lost in narrow streets of Kabuki or Japan Town.
Everything is artisticly dense, it's overwelming.

We can all say that Cyberpunk is a good game period. Was it buggy at launch? Yes but boy oh boy did this game come back and bitch slap people. Characters are very nice, and this game actually destroys the theme/vibe it’s trying to portray.
I played it on release and enjoyed it. Played through it again when the dlc came out and fking loved it, phenomenal game.

Have you guys spent much time playing the game recently? I've yet to jump in but would love to hear your thoughts.
I've just finished up the main story for the DLC and really enjoyed it. The new area is great too.
It's really good now I have 250 hours in game and a ton of mods on pc
you get to a stage like Skyrim modding fever but cyberpunk seems quite stable .
modding it is completely addictive, be warned! lol
I will not be suprised if Witcher 4 wins GOTY when it comes out, CD Project Red is honestly the only company that makes legendary games.

Freefly mod? How did you keep the npc and vehicles from despawning?
There's a very good camera toolset linked in the description. Free cam, time control, slowmo, etc and everything keeps running. It's great.

This video is absolutely breathtaking! What are your graphic settings and are you running any mods? I've amped up the graphic settings to the max but it doesn't as good as yours even with a 4080!
No mods, just maxed out settings (path tracing included) and 4K/60 output.

Dear major studios and developers, THIS is how you DOUBLE-DOWN and prove to everyone that your design and philosophy is right. Not lame excuses and poor rebuttals or outright denials. Shame on Todd Howard for mocking gamers, that piece-of-shit Starfield is a new IP (which means it was ripe for new design ideas, a departure from the Bethesda philosophy, new aesthetics, new game mechanics, etc) that was just a copy-and-paste product.

The game was shit on launch, it was poorly optimized and still have a lot of bugs. Yet it is one of a masterpiece in my opinion, sure the gameplay is lacking, but the rich story and lore makes up for it. The details around the gameworld shows you what kind of dystopian future the game is in.
_There's no happy ending in Night City. V is not the main character of Cyberpunk nor is David Martinez, in the end both of them are just gonks who wants to reach the Major Leagues like everyone else._

Sadly it's a dead game now. After patch 2 and Phantom Liberty it's all over. If I were them I would continue this game with at least 2 expansions.

@@adequate673 I sometimes wonder, why do people like you expend such effort on useless bot shit. The game had had many issues in the past, but story is definitely not one of them lol.
I don't know, there are some scenes (spoilers) like Maelstrom and the bot (should it escalate), and the Crucifixion that really stand out as some of the best narrative experiences ever seen in gaming imo
Main story is B tier and too short
