I was watching a video of JRPG for psx and the music 1:08:06 caught me ,man the hell sounds so freaking familiar to Mega Man battle network 1 battle theme , maybe I will try that game in the future.
I just finished this game today! The combat is too easy until the last boss with his F*!"$?& diamonds haha. I had a great time but the random encounters rate is sooooooo high...it's ridiculous. The OST is great.
Those damn crystals are bullshit. So are some of the bosses (Wire 2nd form for example can basically OHKO you by paralyzing your entire party). Overall though, I do agree that the battles aren't too difficult, although I did find them much harder when I first played the game due to my age. The biggest problem with the final boss though is that, to my knowledge, going to the final dungeon is a point of no return, yet there's also save points. Based on my first play through (which thankfully I recognized it as a point of no return right away, and made a separate save), I can imagine some people getting stuck because of that due to needing to grind to beat the boss, but not having a dependable way of doing so without wearing out their resources.
+Leoverden Leo You're not looking hard enough for good JRPGs. There's Bravely Default, Radiant Historia, The World Ends With You, Shin Megami Tensei IV, Etrian Odyssey, Trails in the Sky, Xenoblade Chronicles, Lost Odyssey, Ni No Kuni, and Suikoden Teirkles to name a few.
This game is good. How good? I am not sure because I have never played it. Why am I here commenting then, saying it is a good game? That I do not know either. I do however like this ost from what I'm hearing thus far.
