One can only hope that with new continuation of this series coming soon that we'll see both X-Men and X-Factor team up as well as Cyclops and havok figuring out they're brothers finally.

I love X-factor, in my opinion they were way cooler than the X-Men.
One thing that really bothered me about this episode is that it never acknowledges that cyclops and havoc are brothers it’s only through x men evolution that I figured it out I know cyclops’ original voice actor passed away but writers of x men 97 if you are listening make an episode where they acknowledge Scott and havoc are brothers
The one they're working on now will acknowledged that and what happened to Xavier when he went to space
They kind of hint it, in that both of their powers don't work against the other.
Ray Chase will replace the late Norm Spencer voice Cyclops for X-men 97 because Ray sound just like Norm and is just great.
Also the actor how voice Forge Marc Strange passed away so need to find someone how has very similar voice to Marc for Forge in X-men 97.
That and Cable's background.

@civilwildman No, I don't think it was a matter of him bringing it on himself, I just think that he wanted to live his life the way that he wanted to, and no longer wanted the burden/responsibility of being a hero to the world (especially after his love Lorna almost died on a mission). At the end of the day, at a certain point, they just weren't on the same page anymore, but at the same time, the way that she left him was messed up.
@@evohumans It's weird yeah, Bobby decided to "find himself"... but did it without Lorna. Lorna... found someone.
@@marhawkman303 I don't think that he was trying to do anything without her, he genuinely loved her. They had an argument, he left, and when he went back to make up with her, she went ghost.

yeah it's so strange when you know the characters before the retcons, like when Cable made his first appearance before he was retconned to be Cyclops future son and then in later episodes to see the retcon job make it to the animated series.

@@marhawkman303 And so many have happened in the last few years of Mutant lore along. Franklin is no longer a mutant. In my universe Lorna is not his daughter and for the most part the universe makes sense. Continuity is everything from 1963 to say around the mid to late 90's. Some characters from the 21sr century do exist but stuff like Utopia being bombed and M day do not exist.

Well, first off, Lorna's man (Havok) was injured, so she was tending to him (you see how she cut her conversation short with Bobby because she saw that Havok was hurt). Secondly, after The Professor and Forge's conversation, Lorna and Bobby have one in which she tells him that she needed to start over without the the X-Men and without him. She also told him that she had fallen in love with Havok.

Cyclops and Havok when the brothers meet
When Laurna goes "*gasp* Havoc!" and it cuts to Cyclops posturing, as if he's thinking "Yeah, it was me who fucked him up" and Havoc is lying there all cucked behind him,. 😆
That was a cute touch with Cyclops and Havok just "miraculously" not being to blast each other with their powers, they just put that in so casually (lol)
After the entire Shi'ar ark with Corsair, as well as Cable's antics, it's incredible how RIDICULOUSLY the producers trolled EVERY ONE OF US who have comic book knowledge on this show, by putting Cyclops JUST out of reach of finding out about not only his long-lost brother, but also his long-lost FATHER, and even his future (long-lost?) son, WITHOUT even knowing/revealing it on the SHOW! =O lmao
Seriously, the SHEER extent of trolling on this show by producers was just SUPERIOR level to those of us who read the comics(!) =O lol
Only JEAN found out about Cable the first time they met in this cartoon series, but then she ALSO kept it a SECRET from EVERYONE in the cartoon ... !
I couldn't help but notice that Jean was PREGNANT in X-Men '97 ... I wonder if the events in the episode where she and Cable "first"(?) duriong his FIRST appearance on this show met will be a part of the new plot ... !

Even though Strong Guy doesn't have dialogue in this series, he does speak in the sequel series what he was voiced by Nightcrawler's voice actor Adrian Hough.

Pof. X's advice was bad for two of them: Jubilee was left to free-fall onto a concrete floor (and, um, survive?). Cyclops was directed away from the only opponent incapable of hurting him, likely also resulting in Havoc taking shots at other X-men he CAN hurt. There's a reason why Cyclops was the battlefield leader...
Wolverine not using his claws on Multiple Man is baffling too. They really neutered him for this show

@@_Just_Another_Guy yeah, in the episode Bobby was already a member of the X-men but kept getting into trouble so he was kinda kicked out/left the group and joined X-Factor. But yeah, Prof X, Cyclops and Jean already know him and Wolverine and Jubilee were talking about him and Wolverine said that that was before his time with the group. And if I’m not mistaken I believe that they were there in that warehouse to help Iceman. And then later on Prof realizes that Angel was an original member as well but something happened that made them forget about him or something like that. But for some reason if I remember correctly they didn’t even make a big deal about it lol.
They left out rouge, whom would have knocked off strong guy with ease. And storm whom would have taken out any of them with lighting.... Oh and Jean.
Why does the X-Factor has the same uniform as the X-men
I love this series a lot because I saw it when I was little but we have to be honest, the animation and character design is quite old-fashioned and obsolete even compared to contemporary series like Gargoyles and Batman, I hope that Xmen 97 gives it more dignity with a more experimental animation fluid and dynamic as they can be used using classic designs
Strong guy, Forge and Havok were supposed to be OG X-men, this doesn't make sense.

Strong Guy, possesses superhuman strength which he can increase by absorbing kinetic energy and use it to enhance his physical strength,to an unmeasured limit.however, he cannot store the energy to long he absorbs for very long expend the the energy within 90sec….
@@renellharper6276 slight addendum, if he doesn’t discharge the energy within 90 seconds or so, his body takes on permanent new muscle mass which badly distorts his body, which is why his proportions are weird.
Strong enough to overpower most non-strenght related (if that makes sense) characters but no strong enough to deal with character like Hulk, the Sentry, Gladiator. Like stated, he obsorbs kinetic energy and turns it into strength but if he holds it for too long, it could have negative effects, up to straigh up implosions iirc

This uses the old 90s era stuff, and in the old days that was actually a shocking plot twist. One this series just didn't get around to.
Having Lorna reveal she decided to ditch Bobby for Havok was plenty of surprise plot.
