That’s what i love about this guy. Pure human in front the camera. Chris doesn’t want to pretend to be someone he’s not. This is not the first time that i see him talking so honest. Behind the every content creator that we follow there’s a person who gets sad, happy, feels anxious, gets mad and even cries. That’s human. That’s REAL.

    HUGE!
Big step forward. Being open and honest is the quickest way to advance both ourselves and, in turn, society as a whole. It's well known that collaboration drives projects forward, whether it's a home project or a government initiative. It all starts with the sharing of knowledge and honesty over the difficulties we face within ourselves. Depression, anxiety, imposter syndrome, burnout, stress. There is not a single person that hasn't felt at least one of these in some shape or form. The best way to overcome these personal obstacles is through sharing our experiences with each other.
Great to see these initiatives being driven by content creators. Driving positive change, keep doing what your doing Chris.

This resonates with so many creatives, especially. We all want to be the "next big thing". So we take inspiration and shape ourselves to be like the current "big things". But the #1 thing everyone says is: be yourself. And I think until we go through our quarter life crisis, we don't know who that person is or who we want that person to be. I filmed my first RUclips video on exactly this thing last night. I recorded it, it didn't feel authentic to me as I was trying to hard to be like someone else. Scrapped it, tried again, and the new one feels like me - I'm terrified and excited to finish editing it. But thank you for being so vulnerable with us. Keep doing the work for yourself.

You are friendly, and you are searching, and I think through your inner dialogue you are finding that the search comes right back to you. How profound and insightful to see that you used (past tense) RUclips as a way to seek validation rather than using RUclips to deliver something to your audience, whether that be a creative/artistic product, entertainment, or information. People want to see you and hear from you. Keep smiling, keeping doing what you enjoy, and whatever it is you're seeking will always be there...because it's inside of you, not what people tell you.

6:41 - feeling this video Chris.. watched it twice now.. I’m with you on this.. see I lost myself when I had some major life changing events happen I suffer with major mental health and social anxiety ..
the last month I’ve started looking where i was in my life when I stopped being me and found myself a little..
also while looking back I had the mind opened by a friend who said don’t necessarily look for who you was.. but accept the things you love about who you are today! Discard what’s un-necessary & holding you back and fill those voids with who or what you want in your future.
I’ve started to make these changes .. and I’m working on the person I want to be.. not be someone else ..
Also what focal length was the image of the two landrovers taken using please ? ( scene just after you took control of the vehicle :)

Growing up in the 70's 80's and 90's the world was a different place for me and the Gen Xers. Largely because the internet has changed so much of what people see and how they are seen. Social media has gone from an opportunity to share and connect with friends to a full time occupation and obsession with people transitioning away from exploiting the utility of online platforms for sharing their work online, to being exploited by the platforms, desperate to perform making the online platform and it's objectives their work. I think this can really complicate having a people pleasing personality, mix in a bit of imposter syndrome and you will quickly begin to suffer burn out as you veer further and further from the creative spark that inspires you. You are a skilled media artist Chris and the work you produce is Pro-Grade, I firmly believe if you were exploiting your talent to serve the market, instead of the platform, you would feel much more accomplishment, and reward as well as making increadible connections and developing personally and professionally in ways that shasing tictok nonsense, and RUclips views will never provide.

This is all very interesting. As a passion as a profession (it seems your real passion may be travel or ultimately time freedom) you always run the risk of burning out on your passion if it is what you do to get paid. This may seem counterintuitive in this age of get paid to "do what you love" but ultimately it endangers what you love doing. There is another way and I can't recommend enough the book "the Millionaire FASTLANE" by MJ DeMarco. I know the title is cringeworthy but it was titled that way only to be a compelling hook. It's the substance of the book that is actually so compelling and I honestly wished I had read like 10 years ago before starting my business. It gives clarity I think for a creative and hope for an entrepreneur. FWIW

I think many in creative fields can relate to this. What I've learned is when you actively seek validation, no matter what you get back is never fully satisfying because subconsciously you know it was achieved in a way that lacked authenticity. Humans are terrible at many things but one thing that's universal is instinctively know when someone is expressing their true self. We may not be so good at detecting B.S but we really know when it's real. To be honest, I've stopped watching a lot of your videos in the past year because it felt like you were trying too hard. Good to see this side of you Chris, hope you continue this journey
