Simple solution the organisers can still give it charity. Dream on.
Wonder if the interviewer would ask him that question of charity when ronnie retires....I know you want to retire because you made all your money and want to enjoy your life, but "some people" are asking would you not continue playing and just give all your winnings to charity? I'm sure the BBC or World Snooker Association could still give the money to charity, but they won't be asked this question in an attempt to shame them publicly.
Amazing really, for the people saying he should have got 147, whats the different? by the time he got to final colour hed already done all the hard work, as a spectator i would rather say i was there that 1 time he chose to get a 146 instead of a 147, than the 1 of many times he got a 147
respect Ronnie you do what you like fuck what people think
Clearly no one on set had the bravery to tell the other gentleman that the next size -- or two -- up in shirting might be advisable. I doubt I would have been, either. : )
Somebody should ram a fucking rest up Barry hearts arsehole , Ronnie s a genius and without him snookers fucked
too many 147s just devalues it for future players too, to the people the money would make a real difference to.
Every snooker player will kill to get a 147, but Ronnie just wants to have fun.
And another world championship in 2020
Give it to charity.... if those cry babies feel like it then they can take their own money off their paycheck and donate themselves. Like anybody has a responsibility to fulfill others desires and wishes. Ronnie is a personality in this sport and you watch his perfomance, his personality. If you want to watch a maximum performance go watch Formula one. Snooker is a gentlemans game and humour definetly belongs into it.
it's not disrespectful whatsoever. its his choice
