I received a lot of help and advice from the local guys, a big bag of homemade jerky will answer a lot of questions!!
Buying snares from different makers like Moon Wolf will give you more ideas for making your own.
I only make two types now. I have used several types though over the years to find the ones I like.
At this time I would go onto Wolfs site and pick out a couple models that I thought would work for me and buy a couple of each and give them a try. If you have a favorite then if you like you can copy it/them. You have the step by step instructions.
Watch the underwater videos to see what the crab does too. I learned a lot from those.
Originally I was soaking my snares too long, way too long. The videos showed me why I was losing so much bait and missing the crabs.
I can't thank the Moon Wolf enough for showing me a trick or three!
I really like the snares I have on my Dragon Fly snares!!!

I am new and late to your video, but I have a question for you. I see that most of your lope lay flat instead of standing up. How does your lope catch the crab leg? Please explain to me so I can have a better understand of how it work? Thanks
