Im 30 so a bit older, but my pops got me into classic cars since i was born. Hes got a 64 stingray, I have a 53 Olds Rocket 88.
It definitely helps to get exposure when you're younger.

Four Speed Films aww come on man have faith in your followers, LA has one of the biggest most diverse car communities especially for classics.. and a small meet is always awesome too, plus the people who go can invite more people to the next one and one after that, you vlog the meet and it’ll show people that they should come out to. You can be like that dude in blue, with people driving 9 hours to come see ya haha. Just go for it man!

Four Speed Films I use to run offroad meets in the IE with about 1000 Instagram followers and I would get over 100 rigs showing up every month. You have 15k subscribers and I'm sure a majority of them are in socal. Just give it a shot and see what happens. Biggest thing is having other IG pages repost the flyers.

That white mustang is my friend Olen’s. It’s a replica Shelby that is beautifully built and driven daily, thus proving that it can be built and driven.
I think I was there the day you guys came but left before you got there, because I remember seeing that retro charger Chrysler thing that day.

Haha, I think I left a little before you guys got there. That white GT350 belongs to my friend Olen; it’s a copy, but it it is purpose built and scary, scary fast! And, it’s a 66 ;-).

Love the car ! Had to subscribe. Back in the 80's my older brother had a 66' fastback with the same shade of green as yours with Shelby stripes. It also had very flared rear fenders with 12" wide aluminum slots , 4-speed , and built 289. One of my fondest memories was the night he embarassed the town "dick" in his brand new tuned port injected 350c.i. Camaro. It was priceless :-) Melody is AWESOME a real keeper. Good to see today's youth with American muscle cars. :-)

Love the mustang Bobs Big Boy was made by my dad Bill Swan along with many other iconic fiberglass statues,He also made the Ford Mustang horse which is what the emblem was copied from the Ford company paid him one hundred dollars for it I also have a Amazon book for 14.99 that shows a majority of what he made it's a small book and it's called "The man behind the mufflerman ".

You 2 are cool together, my wife and I of 50 yrs. use too cruise the Big Boy in Grand Rapids Mi. In a 1969 ford fairlane cobra 428 scj very rare car now, we cruise in a 07 Mustang Cobra these days, also travel alot in your moterhome pulling a 20' garage with a 1973 VW convertible low ride with lots of hp.( also have a 1967 vw) I could tell you about your other cars maybe some other time, you can accumulate alot after 54 years together. I'm going to subscribe to your videos so maybe I'll tell you about some of the other hot rods and race cars I've had and still do.Never to old to have fun.😎

She may not be really into cars but the fact that she cares enough to be willing to learn about them and spend time with you at shows is more than enough. To be perfectly honest, being a car enthusiast is more commonly a guy thing but that doesn’t mean that she should be trash talked because she doesn’t know a lot. People are childish, I personally think she is hella cool, and she deserves way more respect than she gets.

I just turned 52 this year and just had to subscribe which says a lot cause i'm not subscribed to anyone else. I'm into early fox Mustangs cause 67-68 fastbacks cost to much. Love the look of your car and how simple you've kept. And Melodie is a keeper, really liked the vid when you had her drive your car.

Four Speed Films it’s a 440 not the 426 option but it’s still a 4spd and still an r/t. Glad to see that there’s other young guys out there that have had the history and knowledge passed down to them by their fathers. We hold information that would die off with the older generations if it weren’t for the enthusiasm that some of us younger guys have with older cars. Subscribed as of today.

I used to go to Fuddrucker's in Pasadena for their cruise in. It was cool to see home built and modded cars, especially by the younger enthusiasts.

I thought i was the only one who would go up to cars and point at turbos or superchargers and ask my girlfriend what it is. Ill even ask her when we hear a car go by and it has wither turbo whistle or supercharger whine. Glad to know other car guys do that with their girls. Sorry ladies, we cant help it.

If it makes you feel better, I dated a girl two years ago who desperately wanted to show me that she knew cars, so, during one date she pointed at a car and was like "Josh look it's a Camaro Mustang." Sounds pretty bad, I know. Worst part was, was that she was pointing at a Toyota, the same model her father had, but in a different color. Your gal is fine compared to what I dealt with Haha! I'm planning two or three trips to Cali within the next two years I want to go to the Petersen Museum and I want to go to the end of Route 66. Me and my brother are planning a trip from Chicago to Santa Monica. And I'm definitely going to Pomona Swap Meet around spring or the beginning of Summer.
