Love your videos man, I watch them all the time and share with my buddies. Youre the most technical freediving YT channel out there and we appreciate you!
Hi, thx for the great vid. Could you explain why having big muscles is not good for freediving? I'm muscular and started freediving.. but I don't want to stop it bcuz of my muscles 😫
Segway, what's up man. The reason I focused on strength is because I noticed that I did not have the strength to maintain proper monofin technique, which lead to early acidity in my legs. There was a undeniable improvement to my finning after I had built up my strength. I do 10 x pull ups and dip simply because I think it is important to be able to move your own body weight a minimum of 10 times.
Is this all you do? You don't add; walking/running, leg press, stationary bikes or yoga. I'm trying to get together a workout routine for freediving and I have no experience in the gym so this is very confusing for me
Walking, running and biking are not training strength. But are still can be useful at some point in your training. Training is complicated, that's why many people take on a coach.

You don't need to worry about it at first, so long as you still have good flexibility in the ankles, shoulders and hips.
And you are not hypoxic.
Hey could you explain the reasoning behind the workouts?
For example why doing pullups and dips for 10 reps each
