That's exactly what i'm doing. You just helped me to understood my mistake. Thank you so much guys! All your videos are so helpful! Love your channel!❤👌🏽😘
Very clear, thanks for this. Apart from the active inhale on release, are there other things to look out for? I heard ( think it was in a William Trubridge interview) that the negative pressure during the hold could affect/hurt the vocal fold if done improperly. Is it just a question of taking it easy? thanks b
At first I thought Gus was serious withe uddiyana hahahahha then I realised he is a goof and now I can't stop yelling uddiyanasa bandha randomly through the day..
Hi, what was the "stressing your heart" comment about Gus made in 8:00? Also you mention in the comments not to do this until the urge of breath. Why not? What can happen? I feel like I did some damage to my heart doing RV breath holds but no one seems to know anything about this. I suppose you have some reason for giving that warnings, do you know about some cases when anything bad happened? Cheers
I don't recommend going through contractions because you will no longer be able to hold the stretch, plus the training becomes too stressful to be maintained, and consistency is the key to improvement. I don't know about Gus's comment, but I agree for other reasons.
empty lung stuff is very fun and great training, but you need a buddy, some understanding of the risks and a mastery of EQ otherwise it can be dangerous. I cannot outline how to do empty lung exercises sufficiently in this comment sorry.
@@freedivepassion9498 If you prefer to explain these exercises and their risks, especially at sea. I have been practicing empty lung exercises for a while and the pranayama . Thank you and I apologize for the inconvenience
Great video as always man! How often and how long should I do this? Is this safe to do everyday? Is the idea to try and stretch your diaphragm as deep as your last one?
Dan Joseph Camongol, thank you for the feed back. hold the lock for as long as you feel comfortable, don't go into the urge to breathe. instead do many repetitions. you should do this every day, the same as your full body stretching. 10 minutes is better than 5, 20 better than 10 etc. it just depends on how much time you can spare. I do Uddiyana with variations between 20 and 40 minuets per day at the moment.
Yeah I'm with you there, I think I'm gonna have to watch this a dozen times to try and work out what they are talking about and why to do this, I watched one video of him and thought this channel was going to be good but this video has lost me and made it all seem way too complicated.
Thanks a lot. I knew I wasn’t doing it right.

Great, I'm happy to clear that up for you
I thought the chant was part of it, now I'm not allowed to go back to my yoga class :(
It is! Your yoga teacher is a fool!
Finally understood how to do this! Thanks!
Gus is great! 😂
Great, well done
Would be great to have a follow up video on Nauli Kriya
that's just for posers ;)

I think it's pretty safe if you start gently and build from there

What type of dry training i can perform to last longer at depth 20m.. i am stuck at 1.5 mints @ 20meter..
Breath holds with half full or mostly empty lungs should help, you should also check out my video on dive time platoe
Hi. What are empty lung exercises in the sea? Note that I used to train outside the water with the pranayama

p.s like all stretching it should be to the point of the feeling of stretch, and the intensity will be increased over weeks and months.
Awesome info man. Thanks. I'll do these. Keep up the awesome videos!
Bit hard to follow you on this one...bit less theory and a nice detailed picture at some point would make it a really good video. 🤙🏽
Cheers mate, a video could never replace tuition in person, but we are trying our best to get all the cues across that will help people.
