I can't help but look down on people like OP for putting up with all that non-sense. She's clearly been brainwashed by the idea that she needs to stick to family even though they're complete parasites. Literally walk away, stop associating with them. The kids still have a parent, they aren't orphaned. Has the mother even run this idea by her son in law?
