There are no words to express what I’m feeling now after watching this video! Stunning has been said, beautiful too, and it is all of that and so much more. I hope Johanna has watched this video. I can’t imagine how she’d feel after seeing it. This is great animation work and I applaud you Sylvia, and your team for the work you’ve done. I’ve done some animation work myself and I know what it takes to put something together like this piece. Thank you for sharing your talent.

My jaw dropped......absolutely stunningly beautiful. I have no words except I could look at each one and never get enough. Hi Susanne! I wish I could claim credit for the butterfly but he's actually the work of Franco Lodeto - a very talented colorist! (you can see all the contributing colorists' names in the description). I wish they were all mine but only one is! :)
Amazing just how much coloring has changed since I was a kid!! This presentation was as spectacular as each & every creation that was displayed. Don't know which I feel more of right now, inspiration or intimidation.???.. Just playing!!😂 Thank you for sharing your time, talent & creativity with the rest of us!! If Johanna Basford views this, and I am sure she will, she should feel so gratified by the wonderful work people have done to bring her coloring pages to life.
Joan Odean you to all the words right out of my mouth from the web page graphics to her beautiful art in coloring and just truly loving and being inspired by all the colorist out here... I always say it's amazing what a colored pencil can do... I strive to be this great with pencils I've always used crayons even as a adult I have carebears minney and Mickey and precious moments coloring books.. for real.. and Johanna seeing this... Wow. You would make her heart smile forever....
Your whales picture just touched me so so much... I've always loved whales and now that alot of species especially the orcas are endangered and it's because of humans my heart is just broken for them... I'd love to leave where I live just to go help.. anyways your lost oceans pictures could so be used for fish tank backgrounds for people.. even though it's not what you drew Johanna drew it you colored so beautiful maybe you and her could go in together on selling the backgrounds to pet stores... Lol... Was just a vision I had on how beautiful and real that they look... So thoughtfully and vibrantly done.. I didn't know you was the one who colored the lilypads with the fall leaves shawdowing in the water... I love that one it's saved in my phone from a while back... Every collection I'm lost for words the first Christmas one you showed and the tree one uhhhhh just ughhh all of them.... I'd love to come color with you all day and drink coffee just color and talk about it for hours and hours.

I think The enchanted forest is my favorite Johanna Basford book so far.
I am in awe over the beauty of your artwork. When I look at the pages in her books, I see line art. You see a finished picture, your color palette. You helped trigger my imagination. I find coloring in greyscale an aide to shadows and highlights. I am realizing the difference vs. line art. You are the master if your creation. Wonderful. Are these all watercolor? I just found you.
Hi Deb! Thanks for your lovely comment. Only one of these colorings is actually mine - the very last one (I wish they were all mine :) ). The others are from a big variety of very talented people (you can see their names in the description). Between them they've used a wide range of methods - some purely watercolor - purely pencil - purely markers and mixes in between. Many who feature in this video are part of our 'Inspirational Colorists' video series. These videos feature just one colorist at a time and provide links to their own pages where more detail can be found on the techniques/materials they use. Hope this helps and thanks again :)
