- This video is about how I turn my wild, unruly hair into a glamorous look. I will be talking about what shampoo, conditioner, hair masque, hair treatments, hair tools and accessories I use. I will also walk you through all of my shampoo-ing, conditioning routine as well as show you my whole styling routine from start to finish. Loved watching this - I wouldn’t be drawn in to a hair tutorial but you are so relaxing to watch and I do need help with my dry hair!
Personally, I think your thumbnail could be streamlined to something along the lines of ‘my hair secrets’ because you aren’t frazzled or frumpy! And I’m not a mum so I assumed it was geared towards mothers. It’s actually a really accessible and detailed tutorial and I loved it.

I love the vegan mulberry silk pillowcase its my favorite. I didn't know it was good for the hair. I got it because it prevents wrinkles on the face. Good to know ❤

The Redkin Acidic Bonding and the Briogio Banana Shampoo & Conditioners are my favorites!! I have highlights so I need the bonds restored, but the Soft Lengths is what I used on virgin hair too!!
I'll have to try Redken when I run out of my current stuff! I agree with the towel, mine is a microfiber towel from amazon and it cuts down on frizz. That and a silk bonnet and silk pillowcase have helped my hair and skin too ❤Omg I totally forgot I have to warm up my oil😅
my silk bonnet + microfiber hair towels have completely been game changers for my hair. My hair has been so much more manageable and the ends stay healthy for so so long. On top of that, I get easily annoyed by my long hair and when it's been down all day, I can throw my bonnet on at the end of the day and not deal with having hair everywhere. I HIGHLY recommend sleeping in a silk bonnet.
Also, for the silk pillowcase I use, I found it on amazon and it's fitted perfectly to the pillow size and has a zipper to prevent the pillow from leaving. This is also really good for your skin. I can't sleep well without one now.
Color Wow and Morrocan Oil are 2 of my favorites, too. I have not had as much success with Redkin, but Nexxus is inexpensive and readily available and has worked well for me. I also think a dryer/round brush combo is one of the best things ever! I cannot use it every shampoo day because it does cause my hair a slight bit of damage if used excessively. I am excited to try the hair towel you recommended! Thanks for another great video! 💕
Olaplex is the best hair care line hands down. I'm so happy you mentioned it, it's beyond worth the hype ❤
K18 is definitely one of the best too. If Olapoex doesn’t work for someone then K18 is definitely a good alternative.

Great tips on hair care products. As my hair has turned grey, it’s become more coarse and kind of wiry. I look forward to trying some of these products!
My hair is naturally sorta coarse (not gray yet) so All Soft products should work for you !

You're blessed to have such thick, lovely locks in that stunning natural color. Deep, dark, near-black brown and black hair are deeply underrated and underappreciated colors.
Product recommendation, because I enjoy spreading the hair love:
For people like me, who put our hair through bleaching and dye, Aveda Damage Remedy deep conditioner comes with a very high recommendation.
I put my hair through hell when I was younger, going through the entire rainbow from 2006-2009, and that specific deep conditioning product didn't just keep it from getting completely fried,
it kept it soft, smooth, and shiny.
If you have normal to dry hair and dye it regularly, I recommend giving it a try. If you have fine hair, it may be too heavy, even as a once a week treatment; try mixing it 50/50 with Damage Remedy conditioner instead.
The last time I used it was in 2019, due to budget constraints, and the formula was the same.
It's only drawbacks are the price, which can run quite high if you have longer or particularly thick hair,
and the fact that the scent rules it out for some folks with sensitive skin.

Hi Lorry! Love watching your videos. As someone who has used most of the products you've mentioned, I have a couple of things I wanted to point out about 2 of them: 1) Color Wow Dream Coat is a great product, but the way you are using it is kind of a waste. The product is meant to be like a coating on your hair; sealing out frizz. You need to apply it and blow dry your hair dry and straight to create this lasting "seal" from the heat and the tension of your brush, that the product is famous for. It's magic and totally works, but it's not cheap & it's not doing much of anything the way you are using it. 2) Olaplex bonding oil is also a fantastic product and also very expensive. It's a bonding oil though, and you mentioned that your hair is practically virgin. You really don't have broken bonds that need to be restored, so this product is another one that is really wasted on your gorgeous, natural hair. (seriously, I was shocked to hear you say your hair is natural because it's like my dream hair) Anyway, just wanted to tell you that, save your money! I will continue buying these products, however, because my hair is damaged and fried and I need them desperately!!

one of the things i've learn when it comes to my hair is to make sure what im doing is sustainable. i make sure what im doing to my hair costs me less than $20 and spend less than 1-2 hours a week taking care of my hair.

I love the hairdry/brush combo, and so affordable… however I did see hairstylists online talking about how they disliked that it only had a low and high setting; that the high was at hair damage temps and low to was to low to work well? 🤷🏼♀️ Any hair wizards out there have any opinions here?

I have been using Isinis hair brushes since I was 14 and I'm 65 now. They are simple in design, oval with a rubber pad, and bristles made of style kind of stiff material. I HATE bristles with the little balls on the ends, they tangle my hair. My hair has pretty much always been long and straight. Isinis brushes are made in France, and I've sometimes struggled to find them, but with the Internet now, you can find them.
I have been using Function of Beauty shampoo and conditioner for years, I guess since they first started selling it. I love it. You create your own formula, and I change one or two things up with every order to keep my hair from getting super used to it.
