Very useful! I haven't done more than two colors, but one thing that has been difficult for me is planning the layer order for different colors. The "offender" paint scheme is still my absolute favorite and the colors are such a Suttle difference that it makes it very hard for my brain to comprehend the order and layers even after watching you paint it.
oh my gaaaaawd...that PEELIN" FEELIN" :)That one turned out awesome, dude.Im a huuuuge fan of those colors there..goldish colors...metallic orange, copper n such...Looks amazing. Stefan
I know I'm not the only one who had that sense of total satisfaction as you removed the overstay film. One of the sickest squares ive seen in a long time. Love the 80s graphics package. Remids me of a camper special build brown sugar
I saw your video on building the hpi rs4 chassis and also recently purchased it and when i took out the pinion gear cover I couldn’t put it back in without having the screw holes align and was wondering if you could help?an answer would be very appreciated as im stuck at that step.thank you
That was awesome..just the peeling of the outside plastic it true was crazy how you make those rc bodies pop...another amazing job man... Huge thumbs up
Great looking truck Chris! The colors you chose real worked well together. The body lines on the outside of the shell really give it the extra wow factor in my opinion! Your skills always amaze me!
Dang bud when I first saw those color stripes I was a little sickened but I should have known better. You really pulled it off like always. That looks amazing!
Love the fade! Bit 'O trivia: Foose studied the fades of OG customizer Gene Winfield to develop his own fade style. Love the Chevy logos (the grill is awesome with the flat clear on the center bar) as it's obviously a Blazer. Also love the silver & black window trim which the real ones had. Great job, dig it!
Great look...One thing the fade you refer to was developed b a gentleman named Gene Winfield in the 50s and later took on new live with Chip Fosse ....Great job as usual....
Fantastic as always, Chris!! 🍻👏👏👏👏👏👏 The most tasteful Foose job I've ever seen! (I always thought that Foose was too over the top) The colors scream late 70's early 80's, perfect! Merry Christmas 🎄❄ Carmine ✈🚂🚙
Dude your lines are amazing, your color choices are clear out by the fence bro.....left field man. Copper, and orange are sick, my opinion the other colors look weird with it bro. Still an incredible paint job and far exceeds anything I can do.
Edited: I watched your channel once about 5 years back. (to get a paint idea) Now in 2020 I find you again. Amazing work. I even rock a Hemistorm sticker on my tailwalker. (subscribed) Question. Have you ever tried painting the black lines for the door and hood gaps from the inside?
@@hemistormrc still well enough to watch you tube Thanks Chris ps I still have 9-10 bodies that need paining Dirk isn’t helping me ....Lol almost 6 years gone by lol
Fantastic job once again man. Love watching this all come together . It will look great on on the trails. Merry Christmas bud and Happy New Year. All the best.. :)
Awesome paint man. Im digging that paint job. 👍👍😎⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Its always a blast to watch you paint. Im such a wimp with painting hahaha. Im getting slightly better haha. Great work. Merry Christmas man.
Just ordered one of these Buffalp bodies for my TRX4. I prefer the 1981-1991 K5 front end better than the 73-80. I'm probably going to use the orange/copper with the black topper. Hopefully I can make it look decent. Itll be my first painjob.
Quick question, hopefully you'll see it on an older video! Did you back the orange with a silver before the black? It looks like it on the video, but you don't mention doing it. Thanks in advance. Love you channel and you've motivated/tempted me to do a more adventurous scheme on my latest (re)build. Cheers 😎🤙
I cant decide what color's to paint my Harley. You kill me throwing these colors together. If I try it I be doing it over n over trying figure out what I want.
Looks like a really nice truck. I need another truck to build. My friend had a square body blazer in High School that was metallic maroon and cream color on the side. I keep thinking of doing that scheme
Something I missed the first time I watched, you called it the foose fade.....I believe chip borrowed that from another southern California custom car painter, Gene Winfield. In the 50s and 60s they called it the Winfield fade. When chip foose was working for Boyd Coddington, Gene was definitely known as one of the greats already. If you never heard of him its worth looking up. He was in his 90s and still building 50s style customs.
Love it! 👍 I'm just wondering how many layers of a certain color you use before backing it with a other one. This orange still looked so transparent before you backed it.
Looks awesome👌😎👍
Thanks Anibal!
I learn alot from watching your painting videos, thanks for showing these little tricks!
Super cool to read they come in useful, have fun and stay safe!

Heck yes, that’s a great compliment! If you haven’t seen it already, Scott Lempert did a great scale replica of Brown Sugar!

Much appreciated! Thank you!
Dang that looks good! I noticed you had the cans sitting in water before using them, was that warm water so they spray better?
Yes indeed! I always soak them in hot water to increase the pressure and get a more even coat.
As for me, painting a bomb 💥🤝
Stay safe!

Gave the orange one extra coat, but a little certainly goes a long way!
Hey Chris, another great vid. Hey, I was wondering do you have sperate trucks you actually run or just separate "bash bodies"
I run it all and clean it well!
This is dope....
