    Now this is why I watch your channel! Open and honest about the products and willing to change and try something else before writing it off!
    I know you don't prefer doing tire reviews, but I'm glad you're still doing them because tires are the most important upgrade on these 1/24ths so please keep doing them!

    Great video. One thing I've noticed with the larger 1.9s is that they are super easy to tune by cutting the outer surface to make softer and making them stiffer by adding little foam pieces to the innermost channels. I can't wait to try the 1.0s. Right price too!

      @@iamnoone6607 I’ve actually started cutting the outside off the silicone inserts and they work really well lol. Soft front and medium rear. Lighter trucks they’ll bounce quite a bit but the heavier trucks seem to work well with them. These 1.0 inserts cut inside a scrubbed out landmine is golden!

    Great review. And like you said. At 12 bucks these are a game changer would love to see a test on the yellow. I’m with you on the bounce because they are stretched. Holding a little preload

    Great review, for me the 1.3 with the inner bluish purpleish center and those pins on my highly modified furitek cayman and I absolutly love the combination. My rig is pretty heavy and with the original foam, even on sidewall, work very very well. It became my favorite to play with and the look is stunning. Great job, can’t wait to see 1.3 silicone. Thanks 👍

    Those wheels are absolutely beautiful eventually I’ll have a 1.0 & 1.9 set goes well with the Evo Pro I have the brushless version with Meus 1.3 wheels / tires. I sense some people feel like Injora stuff is cheap or second class for whatever reason but I keep placing orders because they have so much really good well priced items & there tons of stuff I’d love to have if I had endless $$. M current right in the middle of a IR 40 Injora/ TRXM build so far got the carbon frame together motor mounted & links on. I’ve just been on a tear with Mini’s right now I’ve been only into 1:10 or larger RC’s except for a custom SCX 24 JLU but after getting the FMS Bronco here I am spending most of my RC time on minis. They just became so good which makes them super fun.

    Good vid Matt! I think it be fair to test them on the 1.0's they were "intended" for, with matching sized tires. Even on the "wrong" size wheel, they looked to have a near perfect deformation to them. Very nice indeed. Interesting Injora went with those little "x" knobs and have them set very close together. With that soft a compound, it might cause quite a bit of knob break away, as apposed to a more stout block knob.
    Great video. Nice to see you've got some half descent weather there.

    I like your thought on the more sturdy inserts in the back.
    I seem to think the back is lighter so I end up putting softer back there. I get climbing more weight goes back. Cool to see different point of views.
    Also I seem to think square tires are better for crawling holding a bigger footprint as well as corners to hold on side hills. I don’t think a round tire helps at all in side hills. A real comparison of square vs rounded sidewalls

    Just got my pins and inserts today too. I took a chance in thinking the yellow would be too soft, so I ordered the green. Guess I'll order some yellows when they show up on Amazon and find a use for the green or a chemical to soften them. I'm going to put these pins on 1.8s for my Dementor DUV. 😎

I agree people think somethings better just because its larger, 68mm is the absolute biggest tire i would run and only on a long wheelbase. I still find the ogrc pins to be an my favorite all around tire. Also would be cool to see the flubs compared to the injoras. Great work as always!

    I cut out every other middle ring "brace" on the greens and it definitely helped soften the outer portion for more contour conformity while maintaining the stiff sidewall support. Could probably cut out every other outer ring brace too for even more softness.

    I 100% agree on 1.3 wheels they are goofy looking, they roughly scale on a 1/24 to a 31” wheel and a 23” on 1/18. As for tires that ultimately depends on the build but I prefer to stick to 63mm and smaller.

  • @BrettB-n1s
    @BrettB-n1s 9 месяцев назад +1

    Good info, am looking forward to you trying them in a 1.0/64-ish tire. Also very interested in comparisons.
    My view is that 1.3 is getting too big visually and barely looks okay on larger 1:18 vehicles. That just my tastes tho. Curious of those who comp how are races dealing with then increasingly big difference between the Axial 1:24(smallish) and the large 1:18 like the Evo Pro?
    I run my 1:24 and 1:18 outside only, so I like the larger size but I see lots of peoples “1:24” inside crawl spots are too tiny for their 1:18.

    I just put the yellow in a swamp king and it felt much stiffer than with foams. Also they sealed the venting holes in the rims and rings, not sure how to deal with this, i think even when you drill holes ino the tires this silicone ring will block them, i think there is no airflow in this silicone structure.

    • @snörre23
      @snörre23 3 месяца назад

      I experimented some more, the small ones seem to work with the LGRP Black label tires for some reason, in another i made several venting holes in the tire (i usually only vent from the rims), to make them useable. Also i saw some guy seriously cutting them up in several ways for venting and to make softer.

    • @2fmrc
      @2fmrc  9 месяцев назад

      No I don’t really use the behind axle steering link anymore just because with the crazy steering we get now with iso axles and x15s etc they limit the travel too much. The links are still good I’d say but I mostly make my links now.
