G'day to you! like so many of these collections all over the World ,they get left and forgotten, what a shame for this to happen, about 20kms from me a Guy has about 30 or so ww2 Vehicles in a Paddock all Rusting away ,Tracked and Wheeled, so sad!
I highly appreciate this idea - the German vehicles are rare as hell and cost millions - a shame that they were on open display in Thun, Aberdeen, Finland, France, etc.
I visited Aberdeen back in 1982, and photographed the lot. They were all captured on Kodak Ektachrome slide film, and, having preserved them for all of these years, I really need to have them transferred to the computer so that they can be shared. Thanks for the motivation !!!
one of the most beautiful WW2 tanks worldwide museum, anyway 2 things are disturbing me ( specially when you know how precise, respect and correct side of Switzerland People's are ) : - Why they are always outside ? please make a building to preserve them ! - why all are "flowers pots", I mean whay they are not in working condition : as they are today in Saumur, Bovington or Aussie Armor museum ? money problem to restore ? in Swiss ? i don't believe... thanks for sharing, take care, gruss : )
The Jagdpanther is coming from "Colmar Pocket" fighting and knock out in february 45 : a real Historical piece !! Must make it working again please !! thanks for sharing : )
I hope they're being transported away to be restored by some other museum that will actually restore them, or at least to take them indoors so that they're not out in the rain anymore.
I hope they bring them to the military museum up north and put them on display with restoration in mind as those vehicles are rare especially the Swiss designs
What a shame: It looks like a few of those could run, if properly restored. I hope that they are kept up--inside---where they can be enjoyed for generations to come.
Weiss jemand Bescheid?
19:43...Guderians Duck ;-) because the additional frontarmor+ Saukopf made the whole vehicle front heavy . There was another version with the long 75mm Panther gun which was even more front heavier !
Subcrito . Informa de la nueva ubicación gracias.
It was on swiss army property and not open to the public. Originaly, the setup was for the tanker crews to study their adversaries. You had to call in and make arrangements to view. They preferred group visits and would take individuals along. This relics go to a better place now, where the public has access.
Those are some rare vehicles just to be ucking about like that.. I hope they find a good home covered and who knows maybe one day find themself in a film making a cameo appearance.
It's high time! One of the best museums in the world, where you can see unique German tanks that no other museum has, except maybe Kubinka ! We all hope that all these rusty tanks will be renovated to a roadworthy condition, just like it is now done in the world, as Littlefield did with our illegally exported, i.e. stolen Panther from Czartna Nida!
Hi, actually just going by this video, I saw no German tank which isn't exhibited in the Munster/Germany tank museum as well (and well kept, in buildings). I am wondering, as Munster recently announced a "new entry" coming their way without disclosing any details. So maybe one of the Thun vehicles will find a new home in Northern Germany. If so, I still wonder which one, as I said there is no German WW2 tank in this video which isn't in the Munster inventory already.
Re. your 'stolen' Panther: I am actually glad Littlefield got it. I saw it just before his collection was sold off after he died, and was even allowed to squeeze into the turret and check out all three positions in there - it was better than new back then, one hell of a restoration job. It's now residing in a museum close to Bostons afaIk

So sad to see these 80 year old vehicles outside, rusting.
They look better than your car.
@@Big1_My car is 25 years old and looks almost new.
Don’t worry, all the best pieces are inside, the ones outside are for parts or overstock

Warum stehen diese wertvollen Panzer im Freien?!?!? Das darf doch wohl nicht wahr sein?!?!?
I hope they bring them to the military museum up north and put them on display with restoration in mind as those vehicles are rare especially the Swiss designs
Are they all going under cover??
yes, all the tanks in the video.
What a shame: It looks like a few of those could run, if properly restored. I hope that they are kept up--inside---where they can be enjoyed for generations to come.
Wow sad all the neglect. So where were they taken?
Ins Schweizer Militär und Festungsmuseum in 5324 Full -Reuenthal.😊
Is that an Army Base that they are being moved from, wow what a collection

Tank Museum in Full, Switzerland
The T-34 is said to be donated to the Ukrainian fighting forces.

Good marketing. I live in Switzerland and never heard of it😮

What is happening with these vehicles?
They are joining NATO
They are going to the Swiss Military Museum in Full-Reuenthal, Switzerland.

hola porque se los llevan ?
Los trasladan a un museo.
Is the Tiger 2 restoration continuing at Thun ?
The restauration happens in the Museum in Full-Reuenthal, not Thun.
Hey can you have them send me a JagdPanther please just 1.
With the 88 sticking out, you wouldn't be able to close the garage door. ;)
If only all the machines could be made to run, then there wouldn’t be this hemorrhoids with taps!
