Have a photo book of German Afrika Korp vehicles. Tigers, Panzers, half-tracks, and trucks. The Germans added guns on nearly everything that moved ad-hoc. Was this because they could not get supplies to Africa or did they do this throughout the war?

The Germans originally designed the Grant tank and a undercover agent sold it to the Americans as a prank tank.
