I've been binge watching some of your tutorials just for the satisfaction I get once I understand how something works, I never thought of integrating 3D into my graphics before but now I'm so hooked. what a great channel. wish you more success!
I stumbled across this video when I first started blender. Now that I've found your channel I'm watching all of your old(er) videos and came back across it again! lol
Wow! Simple to do, but an awesome visual effect! You are helping a lot sharing this kind of ideas. I would spend a lot of time to figure this out, but you have shown the way within a couple of minutes. That's awesome! thanks!
Really helpful! should probably mention that Ambient Occlusion and Bloom need to be checked in the scene menue, as mine were both turned off automatically for some reason. but this is definitely a really great tutorial! thank you so much for sharing with the community!
i exactly wanted this. i was scared what will i search for. i just searched layer weight and thats how i reached my destination. Thanks bro. Keep Uploading.
I'm so inspired by you man you're so awesome. Right now, I'm working on a short animation combining some of your past tutorials and now I'm gonna add this one. Nice job!
I was searching soooo much for rim lighting tutorials ..... but I did not get any. Thanks man!! And also the rim lighting that other people used in there timelapse videos....it is not perfect at all(at least for me). Thanks and keep up the good work!! You have my like and subscription.😉
A-W-E-S-O-M-E Really thanks for your tutorial, it was pretty awesome the result!! And it is actually what i was looking for to get!! And by the way, your models are so cool, thank you man!
Came her to see an interesting effect that one day I could use on blender and I found out about group imput. That was so random. This will be SO usefull. Thank you.
I’m no stranger to this shader setup, but I love the added value of the node group thing. That’s a great tip! It’s so clutch... is that even a word anymore? Lol. It’s not just a “quick tip” 🤣🤣
This is great, i messed around with the colorramp and got the dark and emissive parts to switch, so the eye i was trying to make has a glowing pupil that follows the camera.
I played around with this, adding a connection to the emission colour of the BSDF Shader as well as well for an interesting effect. This is a nice foundation for a few interesting effects.
no one knows this but after a months i have watched this while looking at my black spiderman wallpaper i wanted to render him i got a model and i remembered this and it created that purple layer like effect thanks a lot ducky!!
I like your style of giving this away on YT and also opening it up for people to support you. So I supported you for your efforts, they are appreciated. Don't have a clue as to where I would use this yet but hey it's a great price :P
That's what I want to use it for. What factors would you use to animate it? Not just the strength, because that would look like a simple pulsing. How would you make spots here and there glowing brighter then fading, like embers?
A very similar approach but making the Principled transparent (and possibly just having index of refraction of 1.0), could produce a X-Ray style effect.
Dude you are pumping out these tutorials like nobody’s business! Keep up the great work
EitherOr Animations thank you
EitherOr3 I though you said buisness
Love how you post one tutorial after another. Another hell of a treat, thank you Sir!

wow.. this is awesome. thanks my bro
Nice, I like the deforming displacement ball. I created it and its awesome.
exactly what i wanted. thanks!!
You could call it an "ember" shader because it would work for hot coals/embers.
Bio-error 1d10t: User unable to create name. It has a lot of use cases I couldn’t figure out what to call it
especiallly cool if you use blackbody for the colors :P
That's what I want to use it for. What factors would you use to animate it? Not just the strength, because that would look like a simple pulsing. How would you make spots here and there glowing brighter then fading, like embers?
