Austin is has gotten very rough through the many years since I have lived here in Central Texas. It is not the same place as before since1999...a lot changed there.

Wow. Things are just getting worse in Austin. Homicides, overdoses, and a huge democratic population.
The city shouldn’t have courted so many tech companies with no real plans for expanding in a smart way. Austin has always been more liberal, though. It’s why I moved here 30 years ago. More people will lead to more homicides, blame the Sackers for the heroin epidemic.
Open carry, easy access to guns doesn’t help with gun violence, btw.
