Okay first the CUE CARDS behind-the-scenes and now this...and all I have to say is MORE. Please. MORE. SNL is THE gold standard in television. And seeing how the show comes to life is almost more captivating than the show itself. DON’T STOP giving us more behind the scenes until there’s no more to give. Thank you.

Now I know why SNL is successful. It is the respect from actors and actresses to those who work tirelessly behind the scenes. I don't think I can stay on the job for 31 years with that kind of stress in my current mental condition.

I don’t want to do costumes for the rest of my life but if there was no other factors in my life, working costumes at SNL is just my dream career. The research aspect is the most interesting to me, partially because it is my favorite part of the process.

SNL is definitely responsible for my sense of humor and the way I work in theater. I don't do costumes, but one of my friends does and what I learned from him has made me super grateful for the work of a costume designer. He is so oriented in what he does and his ideas are so wildly amazing that I hope I see his name in the SNL costume credits. This seems like the perfect job for him :')

I love these little insights to the production process. They obviously keep all footage of the dress rehearsals and regular shows and all the stuff in between, so just once I would like to see them run a full dress rehearsal or a full show and leave in all the bits in between where the commercials would go. RUclips is the perfect showcase to do that.

I do costumes for my high school theater (and I know they’re very different), and a lot of the stuff they did we do too. Rushed quick changes? Yup. Last minute changes? You got it. Making stuff that can easily put on and off? You know it.

I don't why exactly, but I ship John Mulaney and the Wardrobe Lady. That hand hold and running off together is so adorable, it's like a musical

As a former dancer and theatre kid (ages 2-18) the quick changes are a force... I would take 6+ classes a year plus an extra three dances because I was in junior and senior dance company (different times respectively) and some of the costumes were so difficult so it was a lot... quick changes can make a person crazy

I'm out of breath, my heart is pounding, all while just sitting on my A$$. The creators, crew, cast how can they endure this - for 25 years he says at the end? - My gosh!
Bill Hader doing this with near crippling anxiety, a wife and three kids, keeping his fingers calloused so he can pick up his guitar or bass and enjoy a moment of enjoyment, shopping, doing interviews, press, photo shoots. He said he would do touristy stuff after he left NYC because there was no time to do it while he worked at SNL. He's a known Wikipedia of film, so there's that, he's an avid reader, he runs on his treadmill - how did he manage?!
    #BillHader @5:54.

I remember when someone on the staff asked the Costume People
Group on Facebook if anyone had any leads on the strange jacket Sarah Palin had worn. I think I remember that a member knew where to find one. Sad that it didn't make it to NYC in time.

SNL one of the few productions still on that hold true to tradition of letting creatives create, thats why celebs keep going back even when its bad lol also doing this every week is insane. I'm sure they keep crew forever because this is a job that gets easier the more you do it

I saw the thumbnail and I thought it was a video of the Santa Claus and Justin Timberlake Christmas special. I was really looking forward to hearing "SOUP THERE IT IS! SOUP THERE IT IS! And give it all up to Homelessvill!".
