great pants...went down bc im a moron and was draggin knees on public roads and a bungee cord in the middle of road remind me how stupid i was ... at around 40mph took a slide and the pants held up great.Thank you for taking the time for the video
As for leather trousers are they the one to chose to remain as cool as possible during hot summer days? Vs Dainese Pony 3 or any others perforated leather pants, what would be the best pick?
Hi Van. I'm a big fan of A* missile airflow range. I have the jacket (v1 I think). My I ask does the reviewed pants have double layers of leather in the main impact and slide zones? (seat, knees and hips)
Hello, I am trying to decide between the Alpinestars Track V2 an the MIssile V3 Airflow. I live in SF-Bay Area, California so I would like something with passable ventilation, and I also intend to use it with the Tech Air 10 airbag system later on. Please let me know the differences between the two items, especially in the protection department. I really like the hard knee DFS on the Track V2.
im 6'3 but im really skinny i got a 29/30 inch waist what size should i get i tried to find the long one but alpinestar is sold out, trying to buy soon need help!
design of the lower parts seems meant to be worn inside of a boot. can that part stretch enough to wear outside/over boots? because rain or whatever. thanks in advance
I’m a 32 normal pants I have big thighs 5’11” 201lbs I bought a 52 unzipped and fully open I couldn’t pull them up over my thighs. Just ordered a 56 let’s see how they fit….
IMO the level 1 that is in the knee and shin is more than adequate. This is the very same stuff you will find in their race suits which we have personally tested with on track crashes several times over the years. - Van
Do these pants fit a little looser than the track v2? I tried on a size 56 Track V2 and it was super tight to the point we're id have to upsize to a 58. But would a size 56 in the missile air not be as tight?
If you purchase the suit from a reputable retailer like my company there is a 0.0% chance you get a fake. Buy this from some random dude on Facebook for a smoking deal you can bet your ass it is a fake. - Van
Thanks for watching. I am not sure why they are not and to be honest the CE rating does not carry much weight with US customers so we do not focus on it. - Van
Great video. I dont know if you can help me but I got the Missile Airflow pants from the first generation on sale and I found out that in europe it has a lower safety level (A Level) compared to the V2 and V3 generation (AA Level). Is the old version really worse than the new one? I mean they have the same leather thickness and protectors as far as I know.
I would not sweat that at all. While I could not say for sure I suspect the previous version was never tested at the new level for one reason or another. The pants are all pretty much the same. - Van
Just found your channel and really enjoy your reviews. As far as helmets I’m mixed between buying the Arai Signet X basic plain or LS2 Challenger Carbon. I’m 62 and now ride Sport Touring only. Any feed back you have would be appreciated. Thank you sir.
@@harley103-15 It’s fairly lightweight but the comfort factor was more important to me. It’s not the quietest helmet but it flows air and I wear earplugs when I ride.

I am not familiar with the Dainese pants mentioned but will say perforated pants are the way to go to help keep you cool. - Van

I used to wear a textile upper with leather pants once upon a time in England. I bet these flow a lot of air.
These will flow plenty of air to keep you cool. - Van

If you have large quads it can complicate buying a good fitting pair of riding pants. You will need to try on a few pair to find the right ones. - Van
Off topic a bit, when do you think we'll get to buy the new supertech r10 helmet 💥
I think this is another season away from being released. - Van
Are there lvl 2 replacements for the armor ?

I feel like they fit the same personally. - Van
I want to ask that how to check original and fake suits?

Great video! What is missing from these pants that prevents them from a AAA rating?
Thanks for watching. I am not sure why they are not and to be honest the CE rating does not carry much weight with US customers so we do not focus on it. - Van
Can this pants work with the gp force top?
Yes, I would expect any current Alpinestars jacket to zip to those pants. They have been using the same zipper for many seasons now. - Van
@sportbiketrackgear thank you sir

Do these airflow version of the pants offer less protection than the non airflow/ regular version, or are they both the same level of protection?
Level of protection will be the same from both versions. - Van
i have an old pair of track pants? how do these compare? sizing similar
I feel like the Alpinestars pants sizing has remained pretty much the same over many years now. - Van

100% I would go with the Arai over the LS2. No comparison IMO, Arai is hands down the better helmet. - Van
Thanks for the feedback.
I have the Signet X and it’s the best and most comfortable helmet I’ve ever owned.
@@mutantmaniac4991Thanks for your input. I’m in need of a light weight helmet, how do you find the helmet fatigue after a 6-8 hour day of riding.

Cool videos..👌🏻
Thank you for watching! - Van
Max one or two peice better
1 Piece provides better protection. 2 piece is more convenient, you can dress down at a cafe/shop.
@@Pemalite thank u max tighter or loose..wa colour
@@spuddywilde6495 Black goes with everything...
Fitting is subjective, I prefer a tighter fit, but that's just me... Leather does stretch over time.
@@Pemalite thanks max what make I'm thinking rebellion or dainease
If you plan to ride in a suit the one piece is more comfortable while being more protective. - Van
Max don't look too confrontable in this video. Next time u do the leather pants pop's.
LOL, he is the model from this point forward. - Van
@Sportbike Track Gear Well Max I tried to help out U got it thou.
