Another great review! I picked up this jacket in January 2022 and I wear it year round in Southern California. It gets a little warm, especially during the summer when wearing the A* TechAir 5 air bag vest, but it's liveable if you're wearing a performance base layer. This is an awesome jacket. I added A* Nucleon Flex Pro CI chest protectors and I couldn't be happier. I don't think you can remove/replace the elbow sliders, though. They appear to be stitched in. Please correct me if I'm wrong!
@@deankruse4491 I do. I use a Ogio Dakar 3L with it and there are no problems. I have it adjusted a little low and it clears the hump. It's not awkward, not tight, and I have full range of motion. Reply here with any more questions, I got you!
Much appreciate the video for review. I’ve got a question for ya, I couldn’t find any places for chest protectors. Where is located for them? Literally, there are no pockets for them.
Nah,the sizing chart isn't necessarily true to size because it doesn't take into account for muscle size. The sizing chart would have me wearing a size 48 based on my 5'9" height, but i have a 45" chest, not a wimpy 37" chest like the sizing chardt suggests for that height. So i'm a size 52.I can even wear the size 54.
Its annoying when u zip the set together.. cause the lower part of the backprotector will sit in between the zip kinda... its either too long or too short if u know what i mean
why is this Astars ONLY AAA ce level 2 jacket? i've seen rev'it! jackets that got that the same safety features while A* got only 1 jacket which is this... idk if it on purpose on not
@@joaosoares3719 i think he means why this is a star's one and only AAA level jacket. That makes no sense to me either when jackets like Atem are priced higher , is for racing, and yet is AA only.
@Inline3speedy exactly, and even tho I love my missile v2, it's a bit bulky compared to rev'it! which has way more textile and still is AAA, all the other jackets Astars have is either AA with CE L1/2 or AAA with CE L1 or even yet compact protection and not insert like the nucleon, I don't have a clue why
Can anyone tell me if the Alpinestars Missile V2 jacket is the same as the Alpinestars Missile V2 2-piece jacket? Are there any major differences between them?

Do you know if you can wear a backpack with that jacket with the aerodynamic hump on the back?

@@818_MT-09 Thanks bro. I went ahead and ordered this jacket today in black /red size 54. Should be in in a few days. Thanks again for your help.👍🏻
Appreciate the feedback! The elbow sliders are not removable.
Where do u slide in the chest peotectors?
Hello, this jacket can be use in winter or is only for summer ? ?
This jacket is not really meant for the winter.

There should be compartments in the chest to place the protectors in.
@@SpeedAddictsTV Unfortunately, I could’ve not found the way to put them in. I’ll check again thou. Thank you.

everything is accessible through the lower back opening, you work your way around to find it, it's a bit tricky but it's there
what about the compatibility with the back protetor? which one clips into the jacket?
You can use the Alpinstars Nueclon back protector.

Unfortunately, no sizing chart takes account muscle. Too many variables at that point. We try to recommend sizing to the best of our abilities.
"Muscle"...
Does this jacket fit the "full back protectors" like the Nucleon Flex Pro full back protector or Nucleon Plasma Full Back Protector?
Yes it does!

I believe Alpinestars wanted to make the ultimate racing jacket and maybe did not want to have multiple options.
You do realize AAA is the highest level of protection...?
