REPLACING MY IN TANK FUEL PUMP ON MY 2006 VW GTI MK5!

Yall know if I gotta take the fuel pump out to drop the fuel tank? Was gonna replace the tank and fuel pump as a complete unit

I can't get the gasket seal to lock back into place. It's difficult to hold the fuel pump in the tank, and lock the gasket seal into place at the same time.
Of course, my gasket seal was badly rusted for some reason, and I had to hit it with some Seal Blaster, and a wire brush, to get it loose.
Now, I'm having an impossible time getting it to go back into place, when my man here makes it look easy. 🤷‍♂

i have replaced the hpfp and cam follower, in tank fuel pump plus electrical plug, also fuel filter and sensor on hpfp...still getting p0087 low fuel pressure car falls flat if im pushing her hard, only thing ive not changed is the other sensor under the manifold, did you ever change ours??? think its called a 0261545059 SENSOR FUEL PRESSURE....my engine is a 2.0 tfsi bwa

No I didn't do a video. With the right socket and the extension it's really not that hard. I can get you the socket size and a little bit.

@@BROOKLYNNITRO other thing i might check before i change the fuel rail sensor is the fuel pump relay, its such a pain in the ass fault to find as just says p0087 low fuel pressure...also i dont have any engine light just falls flat around 75 mph then no boost infact cannot go past that speed few mins later power is restored...got a ggood feeling though its the sensor as many people seems to buy them

I have done fuel rail sensor, lowfuel sensor on hpfp, dv, pcv, injectors, walnut blast, just got new hpfp to see if that helps then this intake pump if not. Been told its not my stage 1 remap but starting to think it might be. I'm getting flat spot from 4th gear about 4k and above with same code

Ive just done the same but you didnt have to take the back pads out.however you didnt know i guess.good vid..
