Teaming up with some players unknown to me led to my most intense tank battle to date! The battle starting at 4:04 could have gone wrong quite badly for us!
It's true before I used to know basic phrases and single words. Now, since I've watched Vade's vids I've learned verbs, tenses and certain compound words that are derived from other smaller ones. subs plus hearing it is actually a good way you can learn a language. When I was a kid I used to watch Hindi tv with my parents so I would hear the words and see what they meant and learned the sentence structures for each individual situations. this was the reason I grew up learning 3 languages.
I've just found the channel, it's perfect for me because i know the grammar and many words, but it's very hard for me to understand native German speech.
This video right here is one of the best examples of the importance of having a good commander in tanks. Tank gameplay is no different than infantry gameplay in Post Scriptum in the sense that a good leader can mean a world of difference in a units performance.
Word for word it would be: "What the Churchill Commander must've thought?" In better english you might say "Wonder what the Churchill Commander thought?"

@@aakst8195 It wasn't so at one point... Post Scriptum started out as a WW2 mod for Squad... Which itself had it's origins in Project Reality, a mod for Battlefield 2... The direction that Battlefield has taken in the past years is quite saddening. But alas, at least it has given us Squad, Post Scriptum, and Hell Let Loose.
@@dovaiS If the round did ricochet off a tank's turret roof at a low angle, the pieces from the roof can seriously injure anyones' head above roof. Saw a movie where a tank shell hit the roof at a low angle infront of TC's cupola, his eye were almost level with the top of his cupola, the round missed, but the multiple fragments from the roof sliced his head at the level of his eyes off, his corpse just dropped in and fell on gunner's back, trapping him when the tank fired another round at the struck tank, setting it on fire, the gunner never made out tho. It was just a movie, which title is still not remembered so I dunno about realism, but in terms of ballistic physics, I'd think it's kinda possible.

I'm seriously considering to learn German sometime in the future just for the sweet sweet WW1-2 immersion. As a Spaniard and war games enthusiast, feels bad man that your language is never heard in popular war games, and only in scenarios involving gangs and drug lords from America (continent). Also, German just sounds so good in general.

Als echter Panzerkommandant auf dem Leopard 2, muss ich sagen Hut ab! Sehr gute Leistung innerhalb der Besatzung und sehr realitätsnah, auch mit den Kommandos an den Kraftfahrer. Auch die Zielansprachen, noch leichter kannst du den Richtschützen Ziele zuweisen in dem Du mit Hilfszielen arbeitest. So sparst du dir das häufige „weiter rechts“ etc. Ansonsten macht das echt Spaß euch zuzusehen! Weiter so!
Heinz du kannst wieder einsteigen.. Priceless! Cromwell zerstört und Commander gekillt, nice und dann noch ein Churchill und den letzten Tank, top Zusammenarbeit.
I'm almost sure it would be much better to wait for the Churchil to rotate until his side/back was at a 90 degrees angle instead of firing as fast as possible and mostly hitting angled armor or non-vital parts.
Great gameplay and good communication (it seemed; I'm Norwegian)! Next time tell gunner to aim for the turret/flat surfaces :D (though idk how well physics are represented here) I loved the first kill the most, epic gamer moment there. (And again everything following was good maneuvering, awareness and combination of skills)

When the Bismarck was attacked by British torpedo planes its rudder jammed and it went round in circles until the British fleet caught up and sank it.

They missed few shots, also some of the rounds ricochet from the sides . but yes that tank took many rounds.
With enough speed and a large enough tree, I bet even a Tiger would climb up them a bit (just the tree would move a little more)!
