This is literally like watching a WWII tank movie that follows a german King Tiger crew. I really like the end, very harrowing. Repairing under heavy fire like that. Very cool!
The Firefly commander had a unique chance to transform into Brad Pitt from the movie Fury and drive behind the Königstiger to finish it but he missed it.

Regarding the last fight: it's really weird that the Firefly couldn't penetrate, at this range even the frontal armor of a KT should be swiss cheese (especially if they use APDS, but I'm not sure if it's available in PS)
Yea, the damage model can still be a bit weird sometimes- the Cromwell for example can take several 8.8 hits without any apparent damage... I think the Firefly here used the wrong type of ammo, not sure...
The effective thickness of the Tiger II's frontal armor is around 225mm and the fireflies max pen is 190mm from its APCBC shell. Everything now is about shell type and placement. The system seems pretty complicated but consistent and most engagments are done within 1-4 shots by skilled gunners. The Cromwell has internal bulkheads that contain the shrapnel from the German APHE type shell, reducing their effectiveness. Well placed APCR works better because it goes through the bulkheads
they did get through once they hit the right spot but the transmission soaked it up. the cannon was hit by the first one that did damage. but its about shot placement with front armor that thicc

Its amazing how many allied tank players think they can take on a panzer V, VI, and VII from the front. The only tank that gives u a chance in a headon is the firefly, but that thing is a glass cannon.
I know its selfish of me to say but i kind of like the use of both German and English, even though i know its because the servers are emptying put. This video was really cool and showed more of those impressive new tank mods! I hope word gets out just how good Post Scriptum is in a first person Armour game.
The fact that the tanks deal few to no damage to one another is a real problem in PS, but it turns out to be realistic... In the game you only have APCR for anti tank rounds which are basically some go through steel sticks (I know it's tungstene but wtv) with no explosive in it so they will only damage what it goes through... They really should add AP-HE in the game

Der Fehlschuss bei 7:50 wäre in echt fatal gewesen. Auf die Entfernung hätte die 17 Pfünder des Fireflys die Frontpanzerung des Tiger II durchdrungen. Deswegen kann kein Spiel die Realität nachstellen.
Ach und warst bei Beschusstests dabei 1945, weil du dir so sicher bist? Und warum sollte kein Spiel die Realität darstellen können? Das ist alles eine Frage der Programmierung und ob die korrekten Daten genutzt wurden. Was ein dummes Gelaber..
Hast du ne Empfehlung für gute deutschsprachige Server mit viel Kommunikation und ner soliden Kenntnis des Spiels? Noch nie PS gespielt, aber ne Menge Squad.
7:14 kann sein das die APHE Munition nicht gezündet ist weil die Panzerung zu schwach war es braucht ein bestimme mm an Panzerung um zu zünden ist eh besser bei so leichte panzern HEAT oder wenn man ein HEAT hat HE gegen schießen kannst dir so vorstellen das die Munition einfach durch denn Panzer geht bissen was an schaden macht wenn man irgendwas getroffen hat und wieder raus wenn man grade nur leer raum getroffen hat dann macht es auch nicht viel schaden ich hoffe Squad macht irgendwann auch so ein schaden Model rein ich finde es extrem geil zwar werden die T72 sehr schnell tot wegen Autoloader carossel aber dafür muss man tief zielen um das zu treffen aber gleiche zählt auch für denn Abrams schießt du in denn hinter Turm mit ein APFSDS wird er denn wand was Munition und kampfraum unterteilt durchschlagen und denn Panzer auch zerstören oder schieß gegen Turm Ring Apfsds wird da durch gehen und denn Turm festkeilen und Leo2 ja ehh extrem große munitions lager rechte seite von der frontal plate
Mensch Vade du alter Panzerkommandantenveteran. Du musst deinen Jungs doch sagen wie weit weg die sind, damit dein Schütze das Visier richtig einstellen kann ohne zu raten. ;)
For the record single man tank crews aren’t completely useless I’ve done it before I park up in a good position where the infantry are and 80% of the time enemy tanks are there with them and I basically have an overpowered sniper rifle

Sagt mal, was haltet ihr davon dass die Ammis jetzt mit dem Halftrack herumfahren können und quasi jeden deutschen Panzer mit nem Cal.50 Gurt von hinten zerstören können? Ich liebe das Update sehr, aber Spieler finden immer einen Weg...
Die Panzergranate 39 sollte doch aber nicht so eine Feuer/Explosionswolke verursachen, oder? Das ist schließlich ein Wuchtgeschoss aus großteils Eisen, mit einer kleinen Sprengladung, wenn ich richtig liege. Schaut aus, als würde man mit HE draufschießen.
Haben es die Devs vllt etwas überdtrieben mit den Effekten. Ich mein so ne kleine Handgranate fühlt sich auch er an wie nen 120mm artillerie geschoss xD

@@_kommandant_3055 You are correct. Depending on where you hit the effective thickness can go up to 330mm. No shell can penetrate that.

I felt your annoyance towards the solo tank. It's even worse in Post Scriptum than other games because there's only a few tank squads.

Schwierig - zumal ja jetzt noch mehr 50. cal kommen sollen. Selbes gilt für die 2cm FlaK, die Shermans mit links vernichten kann...
